Matchmaker

Mina Ashido may not have been the best today at the Sports Festival, but if there was anything she knew she was best at, it was this.

You see, Mina didn't throw parties just for the heck of it.

"Y-you look a-amazing, Ochaco!" Midoriya stuttered, blushing fiercely as Ochaco giggled. That was the third time he had told her that in the past two hours, confirming that Izuku Midoriya… was a lightweight.

Ochaco didn't seem to mind though. "Aw! Thanks, Deku!" The woman chipped back happily. She went to pick up her drink, but it started floating away the instant all of her fingers had touched it.

Sober Tsu came to the rescue, nabbing it with her tongue before it got too far away. "Thanks, Tsu! I guess I got carried away!" Ochaco rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. "Or, I guess the cup did!" She laughed, cheeks rosy from the alcohol. Deku giggled as if it was the funniest thing he had ever heard, and Tsu rolled her eyes, walking to the kitchen to get her best friends some water.

Mina checked them off the list, taking a sip of her own alcoholic drink. She was a people person. Always has been since she was young.

Understanding people and their relationships just came naturally to her! It was so silly that they were all adults, and yet couldn't admit to having a crush on someone. Even worse, it was as if Mina was the only one who noticed these things, making the responsibility of giving everyone a little push fall on her shoulders, and hers alone.

There seemed to be only a few people that didn't need Mina's magical touch. For example, Ojiro and Toru were sitting on the couch together, talking closely. Mina almost squealed out loud at how Ojiro seemed to get more affectionate when he drank, his tail wrapped comfortably around her. Toru didn't seem to mind, and stayed until she noticed something across the room and got up.

Momo and Todoroki were another pair that she didn't need to monitor. They had started dating before coming to UA, and had seemed closer than ever after the Sports Festival. Not that it mattered, since they didn't stay for the party. Momo had mentioned they were visiting someone, and wouldn't be back for the two days.

"Heh, how you doin'..." Denki said seductively, leaning on the wall next to Shiozaki.

Mina shook her head, dragging him away from the suddenly intimidating Tokoyami next to the pure woman from Class 1-B. Denki gulped audibly, taking a large sip of his drink as she tugged him along.

"Kyoka, sweetie, can you pleeeease take care of him? He's going to make like all the girls in Class 1-B hate us!" Mina whined, pushing Denki towards her.

"You're sticking me with Pikachu?" Kyoka questioned wearily, taking a sip of her beer.

Denki went to play with her ear jack, cooing, and she gave him a warning zap. Her lip twitched upwards as he kept complimenting her in his dazed state, but was gone just as quickly when she turned back to Mina. "Yeah yeah, I'll watch the dofus."

"Thanks, Kyoka! I owe ya one!" Mina chirped, skipping away.

Too easy! Tonight was going to be a complete success! She was so thankful that Ojiro and Shinso had brought up inviting the other classes, otherwise she'd be bored at this rate!

As Toru came downstairs with Olivia, Mina grinned widely. Finally, a challenge!

"There you are Toru, Shoji was looking for you!" Mina improvised. That would take another possible pair off her list, and get Olivia alone. She's so good at this!

"Oh! I'll go find him now!" Toru said excitedly, refilling her drink at the table before bouncing away.

"I envy you and her." Olivia chuckled from next to her, watching Toru go. "People can't tell when you two are blushing."

Mina turned in surprise, watching her down a straight shot. "You noticed?"

Olivia nodded, pointing to her head. "It never turns off, and I can't stay wasted forever. I'm bound to hear things eventually. Including what you think about Kirishima." She took a second shot, not even blinking.

Maybe it wasn't only Mina noticing these things after all, though Olivia did have an unfair advantage. She reminded herself to recruit Olivia for her next party.

Mina chuckled nervously, looking over at the man playing a racing game with Hanta and Tetsutetsu. It wasn't a secret that Kirishima liked her, and she wasn't a hypocrite! She was going to make a move eventually tonight! It just hadn't been the right time yet since she had other things to take care of first! Speaking of…

Mina's eyes fell on the black sweatband covering Olivia's wrist. She had seen that wristband before, but would have to check with Kirishima first.

She would've thought Olivia would be the last person she needed to help, with Olivia's quirk and all. It being Bakugo though, she couldn't blame the woman. She'd need all the help she could get, making her quirk perfect for dealing with the hot head. Now that Olivia was here, she had leverage to get the explosive blond downstairs.

"Speaking of Kirishima, I have a race to make sure he loses!"

As Mina was walking away, she remembered something, turning to Olivia.

"Watch out for Mineta, I think he's under one of the tables, trying to look up skirts." Mina shuttered, glad she always wore shorts under her skirts when she drank.

Olivia looked unhappy, but not surprised. "I'm glad Toru chose jeans for me, not that there were any other choices. If he touched me I'd have to listen to his mind, and that's not something I want to hear."

She made a face, scrunching up her nose. "Have fun with Kiri, I'm going to find Mashirao."

"Later 'Livia!" Mina waved, leaning on the balls of her feet. As a handsome guy with green eyes offered Olivia a drink, she cursed. She had to get Bakugo down here!
