→ Jealous? (2:25 PM)
> >.< (2:31 PM)
Hitoshi Shinso let out a chuckle, pocketing his phone as he walked out of the locker room in his casual clothes. For the first time since his internship started, his muscles weren't screaming at him and he had no remaining red marks from Aizawa's capturing weapon. It had been a long week, but Hitoshi couldn't be more happy. He was finally getting his shot, thanks to the man that helped rescue him so many months ago.
"What has you so distracted from something as important as training?" The monotone voice spoke up behind him.
Gesturing to his casual clothes, Hitoshi silkily replied, "Not in uniform, not in training."
Aizawa shook his head, walking as he held his eye open for his eye drops. "We're always training, even when resting. That is the key to increasing your abilities."
Shrugging, Hitsohi let a few seconds pass before he spoke up. "It's Star." He admitted, glancing down at his phone. "I haven't heard much from her over the internship until now. It's… unusual."
Aizawa shrugged, pocketing the eye drops and pulling the hair band out of his hair. "It's to be expected. After all, recovering from that many injuries takes time. I would know."
Hitoshi stopped walking, causing Aizawa to look over his shoulder tiredly.
"Injuries? Are you talking about how Endeavor saved her and the others from the Hero Killer?"
Aizawa slowed his walking a bit, thinking for a moment before he responded. "You didn't hear it from me, but that friend of yours was lucky to make it out alive at all. A trait you both seem to share, with your track records. The school has already called Hawks to discuss secretly bringing my student to Hosu. I'll have to talk to her as well about staying there, despite having already been informed the Hero Killer was targeting her family. I'm never truly off the job when it comes to this class, it seems..." He shook his head, frowning.
As Aizawa walked off, Hitoshi was left standing outside of the locker room, eyebrows furrowed. Pulling out his phone, he quickly sent off a text to one of his five contacts.
→ Did Olive mention anything about the Hero Killer to you? (2:40 PM)

Hitoshi frowned, running a hand through his long hair. Star had some explaining to do.

Momo Yayorozu stared out the window as she thought about Shoto and her internship before class began. They had only been gone a few days, but it felt like a valley had opened in between them. Momo hadn't had a chance to learn more about Shoto's internship experience, or about the Hosu incident. Both of their internships had picked up in speed for the remaining days.
The internship had gone well, though. Her mentor was elegant, poised, knowledgeable, and powerful. Everything Momo aspired to become one day. They had traditional tea together, went on patrols, and focused on how to most efficiently use her body for her quirk. As she watched Ryukyu battle, she had even learned more about dealing with clothes while using her quirk in combat. It had been extremely informative, and a rewarding experience.
Biting her lip, she watched Midoriya and Shoto talk quietly at the desk next to her. She could not help but feel that she had missed something vital. It was in the news that the students were attacked by the Hero Killer, but beyond what the media told her, she knew nothing. What had happened? Would Shoto tell her? Why did it feel like the two students next to her were keeping a secret?
The door slid open, drawing her attention away from her doubtful thoughts. It looked like the rest of the class had started to walk in. Kaminari and Sero turned around behind them as they walked, talking to Ashido and Kirishima excitedly. Behind them, walked Ojiro and Hagakure, the latter of whom jumping excitedly as she spoke. Last, Bakugo and Star walked in together, Star sipping on a straw as Bakugo scowled at it.
Shoto had told her about Bakugo and Star interning together since he had teamed up with them. It had come as a surprise to her, despite the two having become closer during their weeks of training. What benefit would a hero like Hawks have for either of them? Both students were smart in their own ways though, so she was sure there must have been a valid and productive reason.
As Mashirao turned around and started talking about the Hero Killer to Star, Bakugo shifted closer to her almost protectively, before crossing his arms and turning his head to respond to Kirishima and Mina. She could not help but notice how Bakugo hovered over her longtime friend, and wondered if the woman herself had realized it. It might have seemed subtle to the two of them, and Todoroki as well since he was with them that week. To the rest of their class though, it was a stark contrast to before the internships. Momo's sharp eyes didn't miss how Mashirao observed the two as he talked.
In fact, now that she thought of it, the same seemed to be true for how Shoto and Midoryia were acting. Shoto had let go of a lot of his negative feelings towards the man after the festival, but as far as Momo knew, they were interning in separate cities. It was unlikely they had been texting the whole time, seeing as he was texting her quite often. Was being attacked together the reason for this sudden friendship?
"Now if you want to talk about the ones who really changed, it's those guys over there!" Kaminari announced over the noise-filled classroom, pointing over to Shoto's desk next to her and to Bakugo's desk. Shoto looked up as Midoriya turned around, and Bakugo stopped yelling at Kirishima as he and Star also turned to look at Kaminari.
"Oh yeah, the Hero Killer!" Sero piped up from next to Star, who had a bandage around her shoulder. Momo didn't miss the glance Star sent towards Shoto's desk, nor the look Midoryia sent Bakugo. Star avoided Sero's nudge to talk by sipping out of the straw in her water bottle. Bakugo missed it as well as he started to grab for the drink, missing only because she was able to slip behind Kirishima and dance away.
Kirishima stopped Bakugo from going after her, looking sincere when he said, "Glad you guys made it back, seriously."
Bakugo looked like he did not know how to respond to the genuine concern of his friend, so instead, he turned to the class, yelling, "Mind your own business you damn extras!"
Taking advantage of the chaos caused by his shouting, Momo turned to Shoto. "I worried about you too."
And she had. Momo didn't often miss details. In fact, she prided herself on being more observant than most her age. So when Shoto's story about what had happened that night started to not add up, she did not know how to react. Biting her lip, she broke away from his concerned gaze as more students approached their desks.
"You were lucky Endeavor showed up and saved you guys!"
"So cool! Just what I'd expect from the number two hero!"
Star gave Shoto a look as he opened his mouth, and he paused, looking down at the desk before saying, "Yeah, that's right. He saved us."
Now, Shoto may be able to omit the truth over text, and avoid the question over phone calls. But Momo knew when he was lying. In fact, she was surprised no one else had caught on. He was awful at it, having grown up separate from his siblings. When they first started talking, she had wondered if that was part of the reason for his stoney silence towards everyone. Momo narrowed her eyes, and Shoto avoided her gaze as Midoriya sighed in relief.
"Have you guys heard the news about the Hero Killer? Everyone is saying that he was somehow connected to the League of Villains." Mashirao watched Star carefully as he spoke.
Glancing up, she went to respond before Bakugo pinched her waist in a silent warning, causing her to jump and almost spill her drink on Hagakure. Sending Bakugo a withering glare, she went to hastily apologize to the Invisible Hero, Mashirao's question forgotten.
Sighing, Mashirao continued, now turned towards the rest of the group. "Could you imagine if he was there at the USJ as well? That would have been terrifying."
Watching Mashirao, Momo realized that maybe she wasn't the only one being left in the dark. She thought it would make her feel better to realize that. As she bit her lip again though, it was apparent that it didn't.
Kaminari perked up, leaning across his desk. "He's scary, yeah, but did you see that weird video of him?"
Star froze in her conversation with Hagakure, glancing over to Kaminari. "What video?"
