Star jumped as the person in front of her shouted even louder, waving his arms around like a robot. He looked studious enough with his perfect posture and glasses, he probably knows what's up. Apparently everyone else agreed as well because the room became quiet.
"The class representative's duty is to lead others, and ensure the rules are being followed."
Star frowned, if he continued his speech, no one would pick her!
"It is not just a position to prove you are capable of leading others, but one that embodies the rul-"
"Weeeeeell, I propose-" She interrupted, jumping forward. Swaying a bit from the sudden movement, she frowned and leaned on the robot man who she had interrupted. Through the contact, she could hear his strong disapproval at the alcohol he smelled, along with his utter dedication to the well being of the class. "-that the BEST way to kill two stones with one…"
She cleared her throat, her mind catching up in it's drunken state. "THE BEST WAY to get to know each other well enough to pick a class representative is by seeing... ALL THE ROOMS!!!"
Robot nudged her off of him and back into a standing position, waving his arms around wildly, "ARE YOU DRINKING RIGHT NOW?!"
"Not currently." She grinned. She made a point to always tell the truth since it wasn't fair she could read things people didn't want her to. In her defense, this technically wasn't a lie.
His face and movements became flustered. "Y-YOU KNOW WHAT I MEANT!"
Star did know what he meant. In fact, his quick observation caught her off-guard. She went to answer, but Mashirao cut her off by grabbing her arm and tugging her along behind him. "I agree with Olivia, we can look at my room first." He offered to the crowd of students. Star almost swooned, he truly is too good for this world.
As it happened, Mashirao was actually on the first floor of rooms, making it a perfect starting place for her distraction from the actual traits required for a leader. Her room was pretty cool too, as long as no one opened her closet.
Pft, why would they anyway? As long as she stood in front of it, she'd be the class rep for sure. She just had to find a way to touch everyone and play into their idea of a leader. Or at least find out who she should vote for if all else fails.
Bouncing after Mashirao, she was thrilled, even though she knew what was inside. She's a genius. A mother ducking genius. This is the perfect distraction! She won't have to tell anyone her quirk-
"My name is Mashirao Ojiro, and my quirk is called 'tail'." He opened the door to his room, and as everyone commented on how normal it was, her mouth fell open and she scowled at him.
She takes back everything good she said about him, he is a traitor to the crown and must be taken care of.
He rolled his eyes at the murderous intent coming off of her and everyone moved on to the next room. If only she could send her own mind into his, like her father was able to.
She shivered though, thinking about her father's quirk and what the letter had warned her about. With the funny looking scars on her legs, back, and torso she's had since she was a kid, it was strange no one remembered how she got them. Not even herself. She was immune to his quirk though, like he was immune to hers. But the information in that letter had brought her here a year ago in search of the truth, with only Mashirao to trust. She had been close before she was taken, too…
All she knew was that there was something in her father's mind that her quirk would never be able to read.
Mashirao sent her a look as they moved to the next room, and she pulled herself away from her drunken mental rambles. Time to play sniff out the class rep then, Star mentally grumbled to herself. Though, the guy who took charge seemed to have the most studious mind she had ever seen, after Momo's.
That was another surprise to Star. Momo was here. Star was ashamed to face the beautiful and tall woman, having lost touch with her after the incident. Momo had reached out, but Star had struggled after her capture, and hadn't responded.
"Eeeerr my room i-isn't r-ready yet!" The green haired man with large innocent eyes rubbed the back of his neck nervously, glancing at the pretty brunette with pink cheeks in the crowd. Maybe she could kill two birds with one stone (that's what the saying was!) right now.
Star reached for the brunette, taking her by surprise. She took her hand and stepped forward, pretending to move the man out of the way in order to touch him as well. "You wanna see his room, right?"
The woman with her giggled in an unreasonably cute way "Of course!" and that was all it took for the man to step aside. She was right about them liking each other, but hadn't realized they had been friends since high school. The guy seemed shy, so it wasn't crazy he hadn't made a move… but years?
Completely red in the face, he muttered quietly, "My name is Izuku Midoriya… ...my… ...is…" His voice trailed off into nothingness as he got redder and steam almost came off his face, but he opened the door anyway.
The girls squealed, the guys gasped, and Star just wanted to know what the heck she was looking at.
