Join my army
Jian Lan changed her clothes in a flash. She have a mask that covers her forehead to her nose with the color red with golden dots on the ends and on the outside was faded black. Her clothes are well-matched with her mask and under those clothes were hidden weapons on her thighs.
Her job was to assasinate a noble and from that, she'll gain 235 amount of gold and 182 amount of silver. Even though she didn't need that money because she is the "spirit queen", she just want to assasinate all the people who has harmed the living beings in the spirit world so she can be with her adorable little babies.
She jumped from roofs to roofs until she got inside the mansion. She hid in the trees as she watched closely and knew that the noble's house have an event going on.
Jian Lan looked from place to place and noticed a murderous aura. It was a powerful one that she can't with stand. 'It's coming inside the ball room.' She stared for awhile and wait for the right moment to attack.
Until when all she heard was swords clashing and not music playing. She ran into the room and in a swift step, she killed all the people that was on her killing list.
'Phew! Finally finished killing the next 5 people on her list. She just need one more and it's a men named Luo Meng.'
Before she can relax for a bit, a sword dashed towards her as she doge in reflex. She took out her sword and clashed with the man. 'Ugh! Was he the man who had the murderous aura? But he's quite handsome and he looks familiar.' The man had a cold aura and an aura as strong as a leader. His hair is as pure as snow and his skin is pretty and smooth like silk.
The men's guards stared in awe. Some thought, 'That mask person is a monster! It matches with master's skill' and 'Who is this person who can fight back perfectly with master Liu?'
Jian Lan have been sparing with him for an hour and it's too long! She needs to get back to her babies. She looked outside for a bit and lost control when the man swung his sword against her's. As she fell backward, the man grabbed her hand and pulled her up to her balance.
" I'm surprised you lasted this long. Do you want to join my army?"
Jian Lan grunted her teeth and said, " Tsk, why should I?"
All the guards gasped and were in sweats.
"My name is Liu Jin Lei and your pretty light for a man so let's make an agreement. You'll get as much food as you want only if you work under me."
After hearing that, the guards were shocked. 'This is the first time young master didn't get mad over a rejection.'
She furrowed her brows and answered with "Huh? Do I look poor to you?! I'm here for a mission. A MISSION! But look who has to come and destroy my mission."
Jin Lei looked indifferent and said in a cold tone yet majestic voice, "I never said you can deny it. First of all, you destroy my plans first by joining in all of a sudden."
Jian Lan glared at him and said, "Whatever, I'm busy. Thanks to you, I lost my other person and now I got to chase after him."
She stared at the man and he still looked indifferent when he replied back with a "No problem".
She thought to herself, 'His personalities look alot like her older son, Sheng Lei.'
The guards and Jin Lei looked at her curiously and was about to ask about the mask but she disappeared like a gust of wind.
Again, Jian Lan jumped over roof after roof and finally caught up to Luo Meng. She jump on top of his wagon and her steps were as light as a feather to make the man unable to notice her presence. She sneak from behind him and killed him brutally.
'I'm finally finished!'
"From the looks of it, you seem to be done with your work."
Jian Lan turn around as glared at the man. "What do you want from chasing me?!"
The man smiled and said, "I want you to join my army."
"How many times do you want me to repeat it?! I said I don't want to join!", Jian Lan yelled. She was irritated and want to kill that Liu Jin Lei but she has to hurry home. "Tsk, you stay by yourself. I gotta go!"
She threw a smoke bomb while waving her hand gooddbye and when the smoke disappeared, she was nowhere to be seen.
