8: Fighting!

"Is there anything I can do for you Senior?" asked Da young, following Rina to the trainee's dance studio.

"There is nothing for now. I'll just call you when there's something I need you to do." Said Rina.

Both Rina and Da young just finished attending a meeting. The topic was all about the trainees and the plans of the company, while the CEO is discussing about the plans, Rina barely listened. Her eyelids were heavy and struggled to keep them open.

Thankfully, Da young was there to listen in Rina's behalf.

Rina and Da young paused before the studio's door, scanning it from top to bottom.

Rina turned to Da young who handed a clipboard to her.

The both of them seemed to be a fan of clipboards.

"You may go back to the usual Ms. Kim." Said Rina formally.

Da young bowed and went back to her work area, heels click clacking on the floor.

Rina reached out for the knob then hesitated. She wasn't so sure what she was doing, feeling like she was out of place.

But she can't back down now, she started this journey with them, and she needs to keep going until it ends.

Rina took a deep breath then closed her eyes and twisted that door open, imagining to see huge embarrassing mirrors on the wall with the squeaky floor, shining lights and all.

But the thought quickly vanished when she opened her eyes.

Instead of her imagination, the squeaky floors are cement, no squeaky shiny floor spotted, walls are all cement and no mirrors.

Rina explored her surroundings shockingly, mouth was left half open.

Her mind almost exploded, she was expecting a nice dance studio with that mirrors, the lights and those speakers.

What she saw before her is no studio, it is part if a garage.

It's our first meeting but I already felt distressed.

Rina remembered a few words from the CEO in the meeting a few minutes ago, about the money crisis the company suffered.

She didn't quite hear all of them because she was busy keeping herself awake.

Her eyes began to moist when she spotted the trainees' bags laying on the dusty ground and their extra clothes hanging on chairs.

She blinked a couple of times to held back her tears and turned to the person calling her.

"Good morning Manager!" Hoseok greeted with a grin, his smile was infectious that Rina found herself smiling back.

Rina cleared her throat. "Hello everyone." she counted the trainees in the studio, surprisingly she only counted three.

"Where are the others Namjoon?"

Rina asked, while eyeing Hoseok doing stretches.

"Jimin, Jeongguk and Taehyung are at school and Yoongi hyung si doing his deliveries." Namjoon answered, noticing his Manager's eyebrows furrow.

"Min Yoongi is a delivery boy?" Rina asked shocked.

"What about school?" she continued to ask.

"We didn't know much about Yoongi hyung, since he never talks about something like those." Hoseok stopped stretching to reply then heads towards Rina.

"It's like every time we bring up the topic, hyung just stays silent."

Hoseok continued quizzically.

"I often wonder why."

"Well maybe he has a reason not to." Seokjin speaks up, tying his shoestring.

"I sometimes notice that he is a bit cold in away, he doesn't show much emotions. Which worries me."

Rina is a bit surprised to hear them worry about a member, it's like they are treating each other as family now. There is something that continues to bother her, she just couldn't point it out.

Rina shook the thought off.

When it comes to some things like this, Rina is very understandable to her colleagues or juniors and knew that reasons are behind in every movements. She trusts what they're doing and respects their decisions, and all she can do is hope that they are doing okay.

"Shouldn't your trainors be here by now?" Rina askes curiously out of the blue.

"About that Manager." Hoseok scratches the base of his neck.

"Ever since we heard the news of our former Manager dropped out, all of our trainors quit as well." Namjoon answered calmly.

"I find it strange."

Rina's eyes went wide.

"YOU DON'T HAVE A TRAINOR?!"

Rina squealed, making the three trainees cover their ears in response.

What kind of professional are they?

"Ahh, Manager you need to calm down a bit." Seokjin said, still covering his ears.

"My eardrum almost broke."

Rina inhaled then exhaled, rubbing the left part of her head. She bared her teeth, thinking about how big that former manager left her a burden. And those stinking trainer who left afterwards.

In speaking of trainors, wonder how many trainors does she needs to hire?

There are vocals, dancing, gym coach, linguistics, music and all those whatnots etcetera etcetera.

"Okay, what would be your schedule at this hour?" Rina asked, tucking her hands in her pockets.

"We should be having extra trainings at this hour." Namjoon answered.

"Huh? Extra training?! Just how many training sessions do you have?" Rina squawks.

"We have emm, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5....about 8 or more?" Hoseok said, counting his fingers.

Rina face slapped herself. When she entered this job all she thought was managing documents, going to meetings like a normal manager.

But this is harder that she thought.

9 hours later, all the boys are at the foyer, carrying their bags and other personal stuff waiting for their manager to arrive from her office.

They are moving to an apartment the company picked.

Rina and the CEO almost had a fight because of money, and that happened 3 hours ago.

"No! You will not pay for the bills of this company!" Mr. Bang barked at Rina.

"The company can handle the financial assistance of the trainees."

"Oh really? I thought the company was suffering from financial crisis here! You said it so yourself!" Rina retorted, hands formed into fist.

Rina never thought that she would be in an argument with Mr. Bang again, all she is planning was paying one small bill for the rent of the trainees' apartment. She thought it might help.

"Yeah, and just because I said it, doesn't mean you will pay for the needs of the trainees! They work under the company, so the company must be the one to support them." Mr. Bang growled with furrowed eyebrows.

"Well I also work under this company, which mean I can also support them with my fortune."

Rina hissed, heat rising inside her.

"I know that Rina! But your money didn't come from the company itself, it was given by your late parents before they died. I don't care how many billions of pounds or thousands of dollars you have in your family's safe, I just don't want your money's help!" Mr. Bang roared, face turning red apple.

Rina didn't understand this, all she wanted was good intentions, and those were to help the company reduce their bills, she would sacrifice her thousands of pounds just to save the company from crisis and to save a few won.

Her heart on her throat, looking at her CEO's burning face puzzled.

Now she is confused why Mr. Bang didn't approve her suggestion. All she wanted was to help.

Mr. Bang sighed. "I'll give you the address of the apartment." turned to his table and grabbed a piece of paper with words written on it.

Rina reached for the paper and read it then looked back at Mr. Bang.

"You may go now." Mr. Bang said in a monotonous way.

Rina pursed her lip, she bowed then stormed out of the office.

Rina and the boys rode on a bus to the apartment address, a glum carved on her face while looking through the glass window.

Namjoon sitting beside her seems to notice her glum face.

"Manager, are you okay?" Namjoon asked curiously. Rina slowly turned to Namjoon with a blank expression.

"You seemed to be looking depressed."

"No Namjoon, I'm fine, maybe I'm just having a tough day. That's all."

Rina replied, thinking about the argument and quickly changed the expression.

Rina breathed deeply then glanced at the window, she grabbed her bag and held on to the seat to stand.

"Get ready Namjoon, were almost there." Said Rina.

Namjoon passed her words to his fellow trainees and they slowly stood up from their seats and held on to the bars for balance.

As soon as the bus stopped, they all followed Rina out of the bus and strolled to the streets, locating the apartment.

They almost got lost in the streets, thankfully Namjoon was there to assist Rina with directions.

They arrived in a small house like apartment with the landlord standing by the fence.

Rina and the landlord had a quick conversation before they entered in the apartment. The Maknaes were very curious about the surroundings, as they hyungs were checking their things incase they forgot something, they are pretty far from their homes after all.

Rina strolled inside of the apartment first, the room was dark and empty. Seokjin turned the lights on then the Maknaes burst out gasps.

Startled, Rina turned to them quickly wondering why they gasped.

"Can you believe this?" Jeongguk asked, glancing around the corner.

Rina's eyes went wide.

"We are finally living together as a team!" Taehyung let out a squeal, with that delighted expression.

"It's very exciting!" said Jimin.

"Now that were here, let's work hard and be the best trainees." Namjoon encouraged.

Hoseok turned to Rina with hopeful eyes.

"Don't worry manager! We'll work hard and be famous!" Hoseok said, giving Rina a thumbs up.

"Let's do everything we can to succeed!" Yoongi enlightened.

"But the room needs cleaning!" Seokjin cried, swiping his index finger over a box.

"It's so dusty."

"Don't worry hyung! Us Maknaes will clean it up in no time!" Jeongguk offered.

"Okay, why don't we all clean it up." Rina spoke up.

Then all of them agreed and cleaned up the whole room within minutes, the floor is very clean and the air inside is now breathable.

While Rina is wiping the door, she can't help but smile while staring at the boys with bright smiles.

Having a good time with each other cleaning the apartment.

Rina's heart almost sank and her eyes began to moist, she bit her lip to keep a tear from falling.

She is very happy to see them, but blue at the same time.

Don't worry boys, I Kyung Nara, will do my best and fight for you until the end, even if it means loosing my life.
