Chapter 9: Should I laugh or be shocked?

Right now Gildart is sitting in front of a beautiful milf *cough* sorry a queen.

Her skin is white with very beautiful pink lips and has black eyes. Her hair color is also black. As for her proportions, well you know what it takes to be called mil* so, it is really big, both up and down.

"Would you like to drink some tea?" The queen asked Gildart

"Sorry, I don't drink tea"

"Then would you like some fruits?"

"No, I am allergic to fruits"

"Then is there anything else that you would like to eat?"

"You *Cough* you don't have to do worry about these small things, I am full already. Please tell me the reason you called me"

Gildart doesn't want to waste time in small things and wants to know the real reason as he also has to visit his castle or else one of the guardians will come for him.

"And I don't want this kingdom to be destroyed just because of some idiot, thus I want you to stay by my daughter's side, train her to be a splendid and strong person just like you and then help her be the queen of this kingdom in the future"

With this, the queen finished her talk.

On the other hand Gildart pondered as to what to do? For a while there was silence in the room, as the queen waited for his answer and finally Gildart spoke.

"Sorry but I am not interested in babysitting anyone"

The queen only smiled at his answer, as she knew "nothing is free in this world"

With a smile she asked "What is that you desire? Tell me I can fulfill it for you and in return, you pledge to keep my daughter safe and when she is ready, help her become the queen "

Listening to Queens Word, Gildart giggled and then said with a lighter "hahaha, do you think, in this world there is something that I can't achieve?"

The smile and calmness which Queen had for a while suddenly disappeared; she understood what Gildart was saying to her. With his strength there is almost everything he can have.

"Still, there must be something you desire which you can't get with sheer strength isn't it?" The queen said with a smile. In which Gildart also nodded as there are things no matter what you try you won't get it with sheer strength

After a second pause Gildart made a serious expression and asked "Why are you so fixated on the safety of your daughter?"

Queen expression changed and now it had sadness all over her face. "When my daughter comes into this world, I was really happy. I felt as if I have gotten everything but, the happiness that I thought it was for us, turned out to be for me only"

"The moment my Husband saw my daughter, he said "He said, become as beautiful as your mother so I could have a taste of you" I was shocked to hear this. Which father talks like this to his own daughter?"

"He married with another woman during my pregnancy time, and when that women gave birth to a child, he said that the child will be the next king and the daughter would be either added to his fun or she will be married to some big noble to grew his dominance"

Gildart was now in deep thought. In his mind he said 'Damn, this king is way too open-minded. Still, he should care for other peoples feeling also'

Gildart looked at the queen and asked "So this is the reason you want your daughter to be safe?"

The queen didn't say anything and just nodded. Then Gildart again asked "Do you hate the 2nd queen?"

"No, why should I hate her. This whole time, she never ever once said anything or done bad to me or my daughter. She also knows what kind of a person the king is. And even though we both want our child to be next king or queen, we are still good with each other"

The queen didn't say anything further and just stayed quiet.

After some thought Gildart asked himself 'Will she be a good pawn for ruling this kingdom? Is she worth my time?'

After some more thought Gildart asked "What if I say, I can give you what you desire the most. If I say, I can make you the queen and even make that king disappear?"

The queen simply smiled at his question and said "I don't desire kingdom anymore, what I desire the most is the safety of my daughter. As for killing my husband, forget it, he also has a spirit with him. And his spirit is stronger than Hina. It's not like I never tried to kill him and even though I have seen how strong you are, truth is you are still weak to face him"

This time, Gildart smiled a little and said "Let's not waste time in this chit-chat, I will be straight- What I desire in this world the most is an absolute loyal servant. A servant that is ready to give away his life when I ask him or her"

Gildart stand up and stood in front of Queen and with an imposing voice he said "So, Iwamoto Aoi, Can you be that servant and follow me? Think about it carefully"

The reason why Gildart put this offer is that he wanted to choose someone who would rule each kingdom, so, rather than going around and searching for a particular someone, why not make this queen, the ruler?

With this in mind he put up his offer, but he was surprised.

"Sorry, but I have to decline your offer" The queen said with a sad smile.

She continued "I have loved one man and I will serve only one man, though he is no longer the person I knew, still it is him. I hate him and I want to kill him but still, I loved him and I will stick with this one love to the end of my life"

"Then this talk is over, you can't give what I desire, so I also can't give you what you desire. I shall leave now" Gildart didn't waste any more time and said it straight on her face and then walked away.

Gildart has a simple principle, "you give me what I want and I will give you what you want"

The queen was trying to say something but Gildart didn't turn and just left the place straight.

"What in the world is that?"

"It looks simple but still it feels extraordinary"

"Let's go back and report this, we will surely get big loot from this place"

There was a group of people who were on the scout to search for the vampire tribe's, but when the reach nears the 7 White Death Mountains, they saw something shining, something big.

And the moment they climbed the biggest tree near them and looked at the shining object they were shocked to see what was in front of them.

They only got a glimpse of what was inside, after climbing the big tree, but that glimpse alone was enough to make them all greed for it and desire, snatching it away.

Gildart was given a special mission and assigned in a group.

Their mission was about a certain mutated creature, which keeps on bouncing and he also can fight like a human. The mutant creature has a tail and uses it to balance himself in fights. He is really fast and jumps very high, thus magicians are getting a hard time against him.

The moment, Gildart heard bouncing creature or animal or beast, a certain Australian animal came to his mind, but he didn't really think much, as, how can it be here.

With this, he is right now with an 8 men groups to hunt it, inside the forest

*Noise*

"Seems like we are near"

An adult man said while holding a shield in front. Behind him, all other people nodded and became ready for a fight.

As for Gildart, well he is just looking around as if he is here for sightseeing.

Before the adult man could say, he was kicked and flew away back into the forest.

The mutant beast/creature was really fast; he appears and disappears really fast. Everyone was stunned and was ready to retread but the beast didn't allow them

But in that group, Gildart was very calm or shall say, he was also shocked?

'What the FREAK, isn't that a kangaroo?' He said in his mind as he continued to look the jumping beast

The kangaroo was just like those cartoons, where they wear red boxing gloves also.

Gildart didn't know whether to laugh or be shocked at the scene in front of him.

And after clearing all the men's, the kangaroo jumped in front of Gildart and glared at him.

"What a dangerous creature"

"Sir, Gildart please run"

Few peoples, who were lying on the ground after being beaten by Kangaroo, said to him in a pleading tone.

"HAHAHAHAHA"

At this scene, Gildart laughed out loud, he was holding his stomach as he laughed and said "You guys, Hahaha, got beaten by a Kangaroo? Really? Hahaha"

The kangaroo again glared at him, it seems he understood Gildarts word and knew he was looked down.

Without waiting for anything he jumped straight near Gildart, and with the help of his tail, he used both of his legs to kick him but

But something else happened

Gildart, the moment Kangaroo was going to kick him, he grabbed his leg and like throwing a baseball, ball, he threw it away.

"Mother-Father, this kangaroo dare to look down on me?" Gildart said in an angry tone.

"Oh, Gildart san, how are you?" A female receptionist greeted him

Gildart knew this day will come but still, it was too fast and with a light smile he replied "I am interested"
