A Moment of Silence

"Stick together as players. Help each other, don't take unnecessary risks, and most importantly, do, not, die. If you find yourself in an unwinnable situation run and if you cannot run, win!" the strength in his voice was felt throughout the crowd.

Hearing his words left everyone speechless.

It didn't matter much to me; I have no intention of dying ever again.

"Now, there is some sobering news I must tell you," Arthorias said. "I'm sure you have noticed the graves here. These graves mark the players that have died and are no longer with us. Let us take a moment to honor these players. If you would, a moment of silence."

Each speaker lowered their heads.

I lowered mine out of respect. Out of the corner of my eye I looked at Xuelian who had done the same, but to my surprise she was in tears.

I wanted to ask if the name of someone she knew was engraved on one of these head stones. Though I brushed aside the thought of asking something so inappropriate. I couldn't bring myself to ask partly out of respect, but also because of my own cowardice.
