What?!

Aarie quickly picked Rose up

Afraid she would trip and get left behind. He grabbed her by the waist. "Woah there !" She yelled at him. "Hang on!" He huffed. The fog grew thicker behind them as they left the meadow. Then Aarie turned around briefly and saw a dark silhouette behind them in the fog. "Shit!" Me murmured.

Aarie started sprinting as fast as he could back to the town. Roses arms where dangling, and her face was pretty much in his ass. "You've gotta be kidding me! I don't want to go with you anywhere anymore! Put me down this instant !" She slapped his ass. Aarie yelped and jumped in the air rubbing his but. "We are in danger, lady!"

Rose let out a sigh as soon as they got back to the village. "The hell was that all about ??" She asked Aarie. He was busy looking off into the distance. Scratching his head "I think I saw some one or something..." Rose rolled her eyes as he mentioned that. With Roses rogue sensing abilities she didn't even sense any one out there. She thought that was odd but didn't want to worry about it. She already had enough on her plate.

"Well, lets go get some lunch, shall we?" He questioned Rose. She smiled at the mention of that. "Sure, why not." She said.

As Aarie and Rose strolled around the little interesting town of Groggum, Rose couldn't help but notice how Aarie's face was lit up with a bright smile with his handsome chiseled jaw, and stubbly red hairs barely poking out from not being shaved in a few days. He then smiled showing his straight white teeth, as he noticed her staring at him. "Got something you want to ask me, Rose?" She blushed and turned away. "Aw come on, I saw you looking at me like you where wanting to start up some conversation." Rose sighed.

"How long have you lived in this town?" She asked him. He raised a brow. "All of my life.

Although, I did travel a couple times when I was a younger." He said looking at a small lunch shop near by. The shop was a light faded blue in color, it was one of the first shops that got built on sight when the town was first being built 100 plus years ago.

"Hello, welcome to Maya's lunch and brunch! We also serve dinner on the go! Please take a seat on your right." A short 30 year old lady with high brown pig tails and thick glasses said as she walked them to their seat. She looked like she could be a dwarf. She handed them both a menu. Then she dashed into the kitchen to grab a stool. Aarie covered his mouth trying to not laugh at the lady for being so short. Rose gave him a glare. "Don't be rude." She whispered.

"Ok. What would y'all like to have to drink on this fine afternoon ?" The short lady asked. Rose read her small name tag that said Ally on it. Rose looked down at her menu. "Uhh.. I would like a strawberry tea please." Ally nodded and wrote that down. "And for you mr.?" She asked Aarie as he was staring out the window next to him. "Mr.?" She asked again to get his attention. "Oh, yes! I would like your red Groggum wine please." She wrote that down as well. "Alright, I'll get the drinks first, then I'll be back to order meals." She walked into the kitchen dragging her stool with her. Aarie stared at her sighing. "I'm glad I'm not that short. Haha, right Rose ?" Rose glared at him with her marble blue eyes." Umm, what??" He asked frowning. "You know what you jerk." She said sternly. "Wow, my bad..." he said scratching his head.

"You need to stop laughing at others or even talking behind their backs. It's pretty rude you know." She rolled her eyes at him. 'He is handsome, but he's slightly immature' Rose thought to herself as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

Ally came back out with their drinks and this time she didn't have her stool with her. Aarie went to grab the drinks from her and politely bowing at her. "Thank you Ally for these." And gave Rose her drink. Rose smiled at this and dipped her strawberry tea, but she also tasted the hint of alcohol in it. "Does this happen to have alcohol in it?" She asked the waitress. "Oh, yes that's it does! I thought u where aware of that.my apologies I could grab you a new one?" Rose nodded at her. "It's ok, it's tastes good. Thank you." Ally smiled back and had another menu in her shirt and gave them each one. They ordered their food with a hurry because they where starving for breakfast and lunch.

Ally came out with their burgers and two waters to go with. "Ooo this looks so good!" Aarie said drooling. Rose shook her head at his silliness. They dug into their food.

As soon as they where done the lady came back with the bill. "Hope to see you two love birds again soon! Enjoy the rest of your night!" Ally said smiling with pig tails bouncing around.

Aarie laughed and looked at Rose. "Soon to he love birds I hope." He smiled at her. She tilted her head. "What ?" She asked him as if not hearing what he said. "Never mind Rose." He laughed as they headed out the restaurant.
