With her special request on her father, Fan Xifeng avoided being introduced to other people and directly went on the office reserve for her.

Despite grandma Fan's go signal, grandpa Fan made a condition that he would only willingly allow Fan Xifeng to work wearing the disguise is for her to have her own office. Fan Xifeng know that since she will be a research specialist found it more convenient much especially she will be handling important documents and no longer fussed with it.

She's currently reviewing details about Fan Enterprise and of course, the latest trend when she heard knocking on her door. "Please come in." She said.

The door opened and came into view the Supervisor Gu. The thirty years old young supervisor of the Research and Development Department.

Fan Xifeng stood up politely. "Supervisor Gu." Since Supervisor Gu was introduced to her earlier, Fan Xifeng knew the man already.

"Miss Jing. Sorry for the bland welcoming earlier. I was quite busy." Supervisor Gu is handsome with his thick eyebrow and long lashes as main asset. Fan Xifeng however grew up abroad and had seen boys and men with exceptional appearance, therefore no matter how handsome Supervisor Gu is, for Fan Xifeng, the man's looks is average. But Fan Xifeng couldn't also deny the fact that she felt comfortable with the man.

"There's no problem with it Supervisor Gu….Let's sit…. Anything you wanted to discuss with me?"

Supervisor Gu sat first before he starts to talk. The entire time he talks to Fan Xifeng, his face didn't leave her face, it's like he's not seeing hideous appearance of the woman in front of him.

Supervisor Gu told her that there were existing two teams of the Research and Development Department. The previous team leader of Team B had asked for a maternity leave since last month and the temporary staff in charge is Miss Qi Anmei.

Because of her outstanding credentials, Fan Xifeng will automatically take charge of Team B officially. On the other hand, the team leader of Team A will still be the same and her name was Cheuk Rongfang. Supervisor Gu also oriented her that tomorrow morning, she will officially be introduced to the rest of the staff of the R&D Department and will also be officially be introduce as the new team leader of Team B.

Fan Xifeng, although wanted to escape the introduction could only nod because it's what is normal and also to further avoid being called arrogant by her colleagues.

"It's a pleasure to work with you Miss Jing. I checked your credentials and I already admire you." Supervisor Gu said kindly and sincerely. This kind of man, Fan Xifeng observed is competent and work-driven, she believes she'll get along with him as her supervisor.

"Supervisor Gu is a humble person. This subordinate will surely do her best working here." Fan Xifeng offered her hand first for a handshake. Supervisor Gu accepted the handshake with a smile.

Once Supervisor Gu left her cubicle, Fan Xifeng opened her computer to look and study the researches of Team B. Her computer is already wire to be able to access the work and researches of R&D's Team B.

She started reading and as she delved deeper, her brows knitted more and more.

On another separate cubicle, Qi Anmei has been talking nonstop in front of Cheuk Rongfang, the R&D's Team A leader. "I'm so unhappy of this Rongrong! I like Supervisor Gu but this sudden change in leadership is shocking me, and not in a good way! I honestly thought that I would be Team B's leader since sister Ningning's maternal leave. Ahhhh!" Qi Anmei kept on sulking.

Cheuk Rongfang could only sigh. "Anmei, I hope you won't be offended but you know that you're only a temporary staff in charge of Team B, right? After her leave, sister Ning will take charge once again anyway, so just be calm and accept it."

"Hmp! If it's sister Ning, I could accept it since it's already given that she originally is the team leader of Team B. However, that woman is a newbie! Under what credentials she was able to snatched the position to me!"

Cheuk Rongfang didn't speak but hauled a five-pages documents from her drawer and pushed it towards Qi Anmei.

"What is this?" Qi Anmei asked but after checking the first paper, her eyes protruded in shock!

"What's the problem? You know her?" Cheuk Rongfang asked seeing her state.

"She's the Miss Jing Feng that Supervisor Gu was talking about earlier!!?" Qi Anmei asked in befuddlement.

"You read it."

Qi Anmei stood up, then slumped back on the chair.

"Why? What happened? You're being weird."

"Well sister, this ugly woman was the one I'm talking about earlier! The stupid one who caused my accident and even dampen my suit earlier!!" Qi Anmei said in a loud voice, obviously irritated.

"Shh, lower your voice. Someone might hear you. She's your leader now."

"What? This ugly thing! No…! No way!"

"You better read her credentials. A top student since her elementary until her masters. Not only that, we're not talking about the school in our country but abroad." Cheuk Rongfang said patiently.

Qi Anmei paused realizing something. "Based from her name, she's from here. Now I understand." Qi Anmei said while rolling her eyes.

"What do you mean?"

Qi Anmei whipped her hair before replying, "Well, when I was talking to her earlier, she spoke to me in fluent English. So that's why. Nothing is really amazing about that since she studied there."

"Anmei, you're not listening are you. Look at het credentials. And besides, earlier, maybe you also have a fault there. Don't be like that." Cheuk Rongfang said in a sisterly and intimate voice, "Besides, whether you like it or not, she will be your team leader, so you have to be polite to her, and just like I've been telling you, you have to be careful with your actions. I've been hearing bad feedbacks about you. If you won't listen, it wont take long before it will reach the higher up and trust me, I or even Supervisor Gu won't be able to help you with it."

Qi Anmei pouted but stopped after realizing that Cheuk Rongfang indeed has a point. But after an idea popped in her mind, she smiled sweetly at Cheuk Rongfang.

Seeing this, Cheuk Rongfang looked at her. "What is it?"

"Sister, why don't you just take me under your wings? Please…please!"

Cheuk Rongfang however shook her head. "Anmei, you know very well that the distribution of the team members is fixed. Come on, don't create trouble for me anymore."

"Bu sis…please. Maybe you could talk it out with Supervisor Gu. After all, if not for strictly no office romance in here, you and Supervisor Gu might have already been together now."

"Anmei!" Cheuk Rongfang said in a slightly high tone. Qi Anmei realizing her slip covered her mouth with her fingers. She looked at Cheuk Rongfang sheepishly. "Sister I'm sorry! I didn't mean it. But please, please, I wanted to be in your team! You already knew even before." Qi Anmei was still however insistent.

Cheuk Rongfang heaved a sigh before replying, "Fine. I'll try to talk this out with Supervisor Gu."

Hearing this, Qi Anmei jumped in glee making Cheuk Rongfang to shake her head. "You go ahead on your team's quarter now. They might have been looking for you there, especially that you already have a new team leader."

"Alright sis!" Qi Anmei placed the documents back on Cheuk Rongfang's table not bothering to read more and she stood up and walk out of Cheuk Rongfang's cubicle. When she's at the door, Cheuk Rongfang once again reminded her, "Remember what I told you, be nice and polite."

"I'll keep that in mind sister."
