CHAPTER 9

"Who the hell are you?" Arianna asked in a sassy tone. "Do I know you?" Channing was taken aback by her tone. "I am the grandson of your grandpa's buddy from the army. And I'm telling you that I am bringing you and the boys home. Capiche!!!"

Arianna looked hard on Channing. With his beautiful black orb, height of 1.88 meters with wide shoulders, a clean cut hair. She thought he works in the army. "Seen enough? If you do, let's go! I need to be somewhere else."

"Hmmmp! I can bring ourselves home, you don't need to bother yourself." Arianna stood up and asked the kids to follow her. She asked the valet to bring forth her car but a black utility vehicle appeared before her and the driver in chauffeur uniform alighted and gave the key to Channing, "get in!" The boys sleepily got in the car followed by Arianna who was fuming. "This ain't our car." Channing just smirked, "I promised your grandpa that I'll bring you home so shut the hell up!!!"

Channing was furious by the way Arianna treated him. Arianna sat by the boys while Channing was in the driver's seat. His knuckles were becoming white due to his strong grip on the steering wheel.

They arrived at the grand villa within thirty minutes due to the fast driving skill of Channing. The door opened by the butler and asked the maids to helped the kids to clean up and change to sleep wear. Arianna bid her goodbye to Channing and went to the kitchen to make two glasses of milk for the boys. But before she entered the kitchen, her right arm was being gripped tightly. "You are one stuck up bitch. You didn't even say thanks." Arianna was taken aback by Channing's word that she slapped him in the face in a blink of an eye even Channing didn't expected that. "Who are you to say that? I didn't ask you to bring us home, you insisted. You...!!"

Before she could utter another word, Channing's lips descended upon her with force. She was flabbergasted and couldn't think clearly. After awhile, she felt she was being pushed and a loud bang was heard when Channing left the house.

Monday. The Lu Corporation was busy preparing things for the arrival of the new CEO, it said that the previous CEO Mr Andre Lu will hand in the position to his heir, the princess of the Lu family, Miss Arianna Lu.

The stockholders we're currently debating about the succession and some do not approve while the rest are just waiting for the show.

At the lobby, secretaries and other department heads are lining at the door for the arrival of the new CEO. Three black sports utility vehicles arrived, men in suits alighted from the first and the third vehicles while the driver of the second vehicle opened the car's door and let the passenger alighted. Arianna in her tailored business suit came out and walked directly to the door followed by her assistant and body guards.
