CHAPTER 12

Friday night. 7:00 PM, The Royal Hotel.

Channing was seated at the VIP room of the famous hotel in the capital waiting for Arianna. He wanted to pick her but she refused saying she had things to do before their 'date' . Due to boredom, Channing went out of the room to smoke. As he was walking on the corridor, he saw a woman look ethereal wearing a red, off-shoulder dress walking towards him. "Hi! Sorry, I'm late." He was mesmerized by the beauty in front of him that he wasn't able to reply. "Where are you going?" the beautiful woman said. As if he just awaken from his dream, "Just going to smoke, I was waiting for someone." A giggle was heard from the woman, "stupid!!!"

"Ha! What did you say?" Channing said.

"Aren't we going to talk about the collaboration?"

"Arianna?" Still look like a fool starting at the beauty.

"Kindly close your mouth, you're drooling. Yes, I am Arianna in the flesh."

"Oh! Ok! Let's get inside. I already ordered beforehand, your grandpa told me about your favorite food." Smoking forgotten as he led the way to the VIP room.

As they ate, they talked about the business cooperation regarding a piece of land lord cated at the Eastern side of the capital with almost ten thousand square kilometers in size. Channing proposed to build buildings, hotel, park and malls. Though he's just arrived at the capital, he wanted to create a little city within the city. The said place is between two cities. The other side was formerly cornfields and rice fields who was abandoned by farmers when calamity had appeared a few years ago in the rural city while the other half is located near the sea and the forest. Some part of the was burned a year ago so he wanted that trash land and turned it into a tourist attraction site. He already talked with the government regarding the sea and the forest. Though the transformation of that piece of land needs years to develop but the most important for the said project is the financial capability.

Channing had already financial backers from Columbia and America but he needed the help of the biggest corporation in China. Upon hearing his proposal, Arianna agreed and asked him to come to the office with the written proposal.

"This is gonna be the biggest project I will handle being the new CEO, I will asked for the advice of my grandfather and my parents regarding this. I also want to see the blue prints of everything that will be built." Arianna said after. They shook hands. "it's nice cooperating with you." Channing smiled, "Likewise, Miss Lu!"

As they were going out of the hotel, they met Kevin and Rosie at the lobby. "Tsk! Tsk!" What is the new CEO doing in The Royal Hotel at this time of the night? Rosie maliciously threw the question at Arianna. Because they've talked about the project, It took them four hours to discussed so they went out late.

Arianna didn't want to bother them but Rosie gripped her wrist. "Take your filthy hands of me. You don't have the right to ask me to what I was doing in this hotel but for your happiness I will tell you. I messed with this handsome man beside me. Satisfied!!!" Then she went directly outside and climbed to her SUV.

"YOU!!!"

Channing was smirking while looking at this two deceitful persons and left to his brand new maybach.
