School and Training

I was isolated, it's currently lunch time, Mio went with her friends she looked at me worriedly but we talked about this before I am not going to hang around her all the time unless she's in danger, we see each other at home long enough.

Yuki has been called by teachers for something and my pitiful attempt at lone wolf aura somehow worked against girls, dudes already hate me for "harming" and "touching" their Princess Yuki and my "questionable" relations to Princess Mio was too much...

So, Here I am, Rock you like a...I shake my head, it seems my head isn't focused.

As I was getting up to find myself a place to eat, the man of the hour Takigawa arrives and takes me to school store while giving me the run down of the school, I learned they sell hot coffee at cafeteria as well.

I wonder how the supernaturals in the school would react to talking coffee? I mean we have heroes, demons, gods and a vampire here. As we ate our lunch Takigawa gave told me the whole princesses of the school deal and etc.

Also he warned me against the fanatics of the two and how many people got beaten for getting too close to the princesses... Sigh...

After school one could see Mio and I walking towards home well we need to pick up Maria but the destination is home.

"So Nonaka and you...?" Mio timidly asked.

"She's my childhood friend and I think she has a crush on me but I didn't really have much time before I got thrown out of the village."

"Wait seriously!?"

"Yeah, it seems she still has a crush on me, it's actually hard to reject the lovable kuudere."

"Wait before you're thrown out? She's a hero!"

"She's probably here for observation to see if you're a threat"

We went to a cafe an sat together not by my choice but I have learned that you can't really do much against a Kuudere thanks to Shizuku.

"So Yuki how can I help you?" I ask after the pleasantries.

"What is your relation with Naruse Mio?" Right, Mio didn't run her mouth off she doesn't know. Thankfully the duo sisters didn't follow me here, I guess blood relation builds trust more than I expected.

"Dad brought her she lives with me, I know her circumstances and before you say anything, I am not going to get away from her. Dad wants me to protect her so I will protect her." I finished with that not like I can tell her I am quarter demon and Mio is my cousin sure it would clear up her confusion but it would also get my ass a kill order.

"Demon Lord is after her, at this rate you and Jin-san is going to get dragged into this."

"Then he will die at my father's blade don't think we got rusty after five years, also I just need to take out the foot soldiers"

"But the incident five years ago..."

"Yuki, I moved on, my the nightmares stopped, I still feel sorry but I did what I had to save the rest. Also I have no problem using my new sword"

"Wha-!?" Before she could respond I started patting her head.

"I know you're worried about me but I can defend myself, trust me." She just closed her eyes enjoying the petting.

In the end I couldn't make the lovable Kuudere believe me and we left the cafe still arguing until we ran into low level demon hiding.

I just made a shot similar to Gandr but with Banishing Shift to kill it, it's kinda sad that using Banishing Shift without a weapon is considered the pinnacle it can be so much more, then I noticed Yuki stopped walking.

"What happened Yuki?"

"You can use it?"

"Well yeah it's my own power of course I can use it"

"But it got out of control five years ago"

"That's because I had no other options at the time, now it won't go out of control unless I let it." Yuki nodded and left after giving me her warning and I went home with a Emiya™ cake I got them for special occasions, I gave one to Yuki as well, I think this counts it's going to look like I bought them outside.

Although it seems I wasn't able to change her mind let's hope she won't attack Mio...

Getting home I explained the situation to the duo sisters and I told them how Mio is drawing low ranked demons to herself I am not OG Basara who wanted to shelter Mio she's going to train and fight if she wants her revenge...

Wait isn't her biological father still living sure he's impersonating someone else but still alive ... But she's avenging her adopted parents yeah.

"Then we will just kill them a hundred times!" Exclaims the red head.

"Mio-sama how are you going to keep up with your studies, take out demons and rest? Leave this to two of us"

"No, why am I sitting at the corner while you two are fighting!"

"Stop! I have a solution to your problems follow me" Saying this I moved towards one of the walls and inserted a door nob to it turning it into a door.

"This dimension is my training dimension, 8 hours outside equals to a day inside also you don't age while you're inside, with this we can keep up with our daily lives on top of dealing with demons unfortunately we can't abuse it. It's one use a day " It's not that I can't abuse it but it would get boring real quick if I trained them Dragonball style.

"How did you get your hands on such a treasure Basara-san, it must be quite ancient as well"

"I have my ways. Now come on I will be fighting against the two of you to increase your teamwork and spatial awareness also I have some spells that will help with close combat" I take charge, if I stay beta as I was in Irregular at Magic High School the plot will surely find a way to get me a harem.

I shared my own magecraft library with them funny enough this world doesn't have common use Reinforcement type magic, that's enough to double Maria's power also covering Mio's weakness.

My plan is to use this place to train and rest after dealing with demons in town, if we spare 4 hours real time to sleep it would leave us with 12 inside the dimension. We can get 8 hours sleep with enough time to eat and etc. the other 12 can be for personal training.

This will allow us to cover the lack of Master-servant contract and make sure Mio and Maria are learning more stuff and getting into more fights in the end they're going to be better at fighting than their OG counterparts, still I don't need them strong I need them able.

I don't plan to have them in danger but I am not going to intervene with their fights unless they're going to get killed after all I have Regrowth V3.8 (at this point Cortana keeps upgrading it) as long as they're alive I can heal them.

With three of us banding together training and hunting we passed the days. It's actually fun hunting demons with three of us, I even started saying things like "Family Business" and expressed my intentions of buying an Chevy Impala, then came the Friday, the day Lars will attack since he thought we are tired and thinks there's a mental gap he can exploit.

I can't really blame the guy, Leohart really wants to take out the trash from demon realm but going after Mio is something I can't let happen.

Unfortunately I underestimated the power of plot, in the original Mio was supposed to brought to the infirmary because her curse activated but she doesn't have the curse.

So she freaking fell off the stairs and passed out... I had to reveal my identity as step brother gathering more hate and bring her to infirmary and lay her down. Now we wait for Hasegawa.

"So you're the transfer student everybody is talking about." Hasegawa enters the room to check on Mio.

"Yeah..."

"It seems you made an enemy out of everyone in school"

"Not everyone, there's still people I can get as allies"

"Well it seems I was worried for nothing then" God her voice and that smile!

"How's Mio?"

"She should wake up in a bit I need to go for a teacher's meeting Toujou here lock the door when you two are leaving."
