Meeting with my cousins

Dad finally left for demon realm he was taking care of the demon prowling around the town for the past week giving me enough time to get my muscles back in some semblance of fighting shape.

I made a separate dimension for myself to train in, a day inside the dimension is 8 hours outside, I will be sharing it with the girls eventually.

I actually wanted to give him the rest of the Ophis's blood but I honestly didn't know how to explain the fact that I have the blood of a dragon stronger than Fafnir when I wasn't even supposed to know about Fafnir.

Now that dad left I aslo checked Hasegawa with postcognition and damn she's beautiful but this is not the reason for checking her.

I wanted to see if she can sense me using Kaleidoscope since I may have slipped last week.

I knew she's watching like a pervert I can sense her but she stops around bed time, I don't know why but I am not going to throw away free time where I can do stuff without worry.

In reality however she didn't notice anything she might have power over space, time and she can even create small dimensions but it's not to the level of Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscope is too out of this world.(No shit)

So I am free to use it, I made a barrier around the house that will make sure Mio's energy signature will spread around town but never pinpoint her directly.

Leohart might care about his men but I wouldn't trust him not kill humans to draw Mio out there's already demons attracted to her and if they become a problem Heroes will come to kill Mio.

So this is a stop gap measure, I would like to just seal off Divine realm and Demon realm but the space around here is more resilient than any other dimension I have been to I need more practice with it, so no short cuts.

Anyway Dad just left with the Taxi we were supposed to order diner for today, my cousins/sisters are getting ready to "throw" me out... Let's go greet them.

"DURANDAL!" I draw my trusty blade while hoping that my yelling didn't alarm them and send a normal clone downstairs after sheathing the sword before trailing my clone.

In the living room two sisters are sitting with lights off creating a solemn atmosphere that I just want to laugh at, I am currently hiding behind my clone with the same trick Retsu used during the banquet.

I will let my clone so the talking because I want to give them a little scare later on.

"So how's my favorite cousins are doing... Wait you're my second favorite cousins" I say while sitting at the table.

"Huh?"(x2) Man I love disarming the solemn atmosphere.

"What cat got you're tongues?"

"Basara-san..."

"Do you really think you tricked Jin, the War God into getting you guys a house" I say making Maria start shaking.

"Wha..what!?"

"Maria what's wrong?"

"You...you"

"Durandal!" I yell as holy aura radiates but I reel it in so it doesn't reach them. I don't know what would this holy aura would do to them it's not from this world.

"Please let us explain!" Maria gets up while readying a spell.

"Maria sit down, I only drew my blade because you started casting a spell" I say shocking the poor succubus. The duo who's about to piss themselves finally sat down.

"So, how's my second favorite cousins have been?" I ask once more while sending Durandal back.

"I don't know what you're talking about"

"Really? Didn't your mother never talked about your Sapphire?"

"She did but what does that have to do with this?"

"She didn't tell you she had a child with a hero?" I say once more shocking the duo.

"You-"

"Yes, Sapphire is my mother but sister of Demon lord having the child of an hero is scandalous so she couldn't raise me I don't need to mention this needs to stay a secret right?"

"I don't believe it!"

"Do you have any spells that can check blood relationship? if you have set up for three of us." I said three confusing Maria but she accepted anyway.

"Yes, let me set it up" Saying this Maria gets up and brings some stuff to the table while she's setting those up I give a thumbs up to the clearly confused Mio none of them realized but I switched places with my clone and dispelled it since they don't look like they're going to attack.

"Just drop a strand of hair in the circle" I sense no betrayals so I yank a strand off my hair and threw it into the circle along with the girls. After about ten seconds all three circles glow with green light making me smirk.

"Wait Mio-sama and I are related as well!"

"Huh I thought you knew"

"We didn't!"

"Anyway, I heard about your situation from dad..."

"You knew but didn't tell us?"

"Me and my father are known for ours bad jokes, sorry."

"I thought I was going to die!"

"You would have the same reaction if I did it in another way."

"Mio-sama he's right"

"Fine... So Cousins?" Mio relents with a huff I figured she'd throw a tantrum but I guess she has a weak spot to family since she already lost her adopted parents.

"Well, we might as well be siblings we're living in the same house." I say making them look at me, I think I look brotherly at this moment.

"But you're a hero, won't you get in trouble?"

"Me and my father got exiled from the village don't worry about it and you two are family of course we're going to help."

"Thank you but why did you two got exiled?"

"Some idiot tried to tame a Demonic Sword, got possessed by the spirit in it, then he killed some people and children, my powers got out of control once he attacked my childhood friend... anyway it's in the past"

"If you want to talk about it..."

"Thanks Mio but it was five years ago I moved on" Giving them a smile I sat down to the table again and pick up the house phone.

"So what are we ordering for our family dinner?"I say with a smile that eventually spreads to the rest of the members of the house.

I saw a pair of rainbow colored eyes in my dream but it was like a dragon's eye... Is that my dragon transformation... Cool!

In the morning while we're having our breakfast I decided to finally give the two the present I was working on it's my way of trying to get away from master-servant bullshit.

"So Maria, Mio which one do you prefer necklace or earrings?"

"Where did that come from?" Mio asks instead of replying.

"Just tell me..."

"I like earrings better Basara-san"

"Fine I guess a neckless wouldn't be bad"

"Then here..." I say giving them their respective gifts they're made with Kaleidoscope jewels and tied to each other.

"These are beautiful!"

"Yeah, they're also magic artifacts, it will allow us to learn each other's general location at all times, it doesn't matter if you're in another dimension, they also phase out of space so it can't be taken off by someone else." I explained my reasoning of why am I giving something like this.

"I don't think anything bad will happen when I am around but it's just in case I made them after dad told me what's going on." After they thanked and wore their respective jewelry we left for school, Maria tagging along to make sure we're not being tailed by some demon.

It's not necessary but who am I to stop her. Although she seemed a bit downtrodden it's probably because she didn't get to propose the Master-servant deal at full moon and I am eliminating the need for it, I will solve the training issues quickly as well and Maria will no longer have a excuse to bind me to Mio.

So we're walking towards Hijirigasaka Academy which the author is going to write that name just once because it's hard to write and he's too lazy to copy it.

Getting to the school I separated from Mio since I am transferring here I need to go and find my homeroom teacher Sakasaki Mamoru who's actually God Ornis that's here to watch/stalk Hasegawa and he also aims to kill anyone getting close to Hasegawa so he's my one of my prime enemies.

I am actually interested in the armor he's wearing I will have Cortana scan it.

For now I smiled and introduced myself and we went to the class, to be honest I'd rather be in another class but there are things one can't run and I have to play the part until Hasegawa falls for me which probably won't happen until Ornis attacks me but I have enough power to take him down I mean sure I can't do much in close combat against a god but I have Kaleidoscope...

I don't know I will figure something out.

In class I introduced myself and thought 'damn it's been a while I did one of these', of course Yuki's eyes were on me I have no idea what to do with this lovable Kuudere she's already beyond saving.

We were going for GYM for orientation but Yuki tried to hug me, all she got for her efforts was a light chop on her head.

"You shouldn't hug people in public Yuki even if they're your childhood friends" She pouted at me.

"But it's been five years since we last met" Pout intensifies.

"That doesn't justify hugging me" Maximum Pout(Imagine nanosuit voice) while saying I patted her head this should calm her enough.

"Basara?" Mio looks at me with a questioning tone I wish she didn't speak, I didn't do Master-servant contract with her and she doesn't have feelings for me and let's hope she won't develop them I didn't reveal my blood relation for nothing, so let's hope she's just concerned and doesn't explode like she did originally.

"Ah sorry Yuki is my childhood friend it seems she got overexcited" All the males hate me now, there's some talk about why Mio addressed me with my first name, not that I care about boys though, Takigawa aka Lars is the only one I am okay with since he's my key to Leohart and finishing the peace deal with demon realm.

I can't just stomp my way through bodies of my enemies because my mother dearest made my dad swear that he'd handle the demon realm and bring peace first before coming to rescue her and I just can't kill people at random and hope the survivors get along later.

Telling Yuki we'll talk later I went after Takigawa he's the only dude willing to help me in school although I won't approach him until he does first.
