STAR 2: CURIOUS HOTDOG

Sejun's POV

I almost closed my eyes to take a nap for awhile, when my phone rings. I hurriedly pick it up from my belt bag and answer the call, when the name of Ms. Hong flash on it's screen.

When I answered the phone, I'm still wondering why she calls me. Tinatawagan niya lang kasi ako or 'yong iba kong members kapag may importanteng sasabihin. It's our rest day, and this is the first time na tinawagan niya ako while in a rest.

'Maybe this is something important? I don't know.'

"Hello, teacher." I politely greeted her. Naramdaman kong may pares ng mata ang nakamasid sa akin. I know who's the owner of that eyes. It's Gwaen.

"Annyeong. I call 'cause I need to tell you something..." She said and sigh heavily, like there's a big problem. It turns me into a curious cat.

'What those heavy sigh for? Is there something wrong?'

"What is it, teacher?" I curiously asked that make my eyebrows furrowed.

"We will held a meeting now, about you and your members dream." There's a little bit hint of sadness in her voice. Or maybe I'm just hallucinating? imagining?

"Ohh. We'll be there in just 20 minutes. It's a little bit traffic here." I said while the negative thoughts are filled my mind. I shake my head a little bit to take away of the thoughts that my mind was creating. I need to think positive, maybe I'm just exhausted.

'Curiosity kills me. And I don't like it.'

"Arasso. Take care, boys. Is Gwaen are with you?"

"Ne."

"Good. You can take her to the meeting too. She's like a family to us, you know."

"Yes, teacher. Thank you!"

"I'll hang-up now, bye."

"Okay po, Ms. Hong. Kamsa." Paalam ko atsaka inantay na patayin ni Ms. Hong ang tawag.

I face Gwaen and Justin to tell about the meeting that will happen, as soon as we arrived at the office. While the two dorks are sleeping and Josh are busy on his phone.

"Guys, may meeting daw tayo mamaya." Pagtawag ko sa atensyon nila, at hindi naman ako nabigo. Lahat sila ay nagtatakang nakatingin sa akin at nag-aantay pa ng ibang iaanunsyo.

"Bakit daw?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Jah sa akin habang kunot ang noo.

"Hindi ko alam. Malalaman natin 'yan mamaya." I lied and just shrugged, like I really don't know what's the meeting is all about. Mukhang nakumbinse ko naman siya dahil umayos na siya sa pag-upo at nakinood kay Josh na naglalaro na ulit.

I need to lie because I know once I said that the meeting was all about our dream, they will think negatively like me. I really know them since we've been training together for four years.

"Kasama ako?" Tanong ni Gwaen, dahilan para mabaling sakanya ang atensyon ko. Nginitian ko naman siya. Hindi pa siya nasanay na lagi siyang kasama kung nasa'n kami.

"Yes, Gwae." Sagot ko na ikinatango niya nalang. She's cute everytime she acts like that.

Bumalik kami sa kanya-kanyang iniisip habang inaantay na makausad sa traffic ang van namin.

Gwaen was been with us for almost one month. She came from nowhere and then voila! She's joining us, and we became a close friend to her. We treat her like a family, as if we really know her for so long.

Until now, I'm still wondering about her identity. She didn't even told us where the hell in this world she came from. We didn't even know her full name and her background. But I don't know why we treat her, like we knew her for a long time.

'I still want to know you better, Gwae. I'm still curious about your identity. And the reason why you act like you knew us for a long time.'

"There's something mysterious about this girl. And I want to figure it out." I said while the thoughts of Gwaen filled my mind.

"Hoy! Sinong kausap mo?" Pagkalabit niya sa akin, kaya napadako ang tingin ko sakanya habang kunot ang noo at salubong ang kilay.

"Iyong bintana, kinakamusta ko lang." Sambit ko na ikinatawa niya.

"Baliw ka talaga! Hahahahaha. Seryoso? Alam mo kung wala kang makakausap, pwede mo naman akong kausapin eh. Baka mabaliw ka niyan." Sambit niya na ikinailing ko nalang habang tumatawa.

'Bakit ba madali niya akong napapatawa, kahit pa sobrang curious ako sa pagkatao niya? Weird.'
