Selene and Rallie

The morning before the departure

"There's a letter for you, My Lady. I believe it's from Sir Ashnard," Carol informed her as soon as she arrived inside her room. They have been busy preparing for her departure to the capital that Carol has been moving around the mansion and her room like a whirlwind since this morning.

When she offered her help, Carol vehemently rejected the notion and ordered her to stay put and do her usual thing. She assured her that she would take care of everything. That's why Selene ends up sitting on the couch while sipping her coffee and with a thick book on his lap, the thing that she borrowed from the Marchioness' book collection.

"Here it is, My Lady," Carol places the letter on the table before hurriedly scuttling out of the room with a familiar smile on her lips. Selene heaves a sigh of relief.
