Once Again

Selene is standing on the balcony with her eyes solemnly transfixed to the bright moon in the starless sky—while struggling to breathe evenly. She is already prepped up for the royal banquet, and the royal blue velvet ball gown she's wearing is as suffocating as ever. Every time the strings of ribbon tightened on her back, the words naturally flow out. She momentarily forgot that it wasn't Carol who's helping her get changed, and she realized that it was already too late.
