Sylvester's Letter

It's the next day; I woke up normally. The maids are giving me a bath, and breakfast in bed. Then I would walk out to check on my brothers. I go to Juno's room first since his room is on the same floor. It's empty. He's probably doing errands again.

Then I walked to the second floor to check on the twins.

When I opened the door, I saw Sehan is putting away his books. Leorys and Sehan are studying for school; they hated it, obviously. Sehan noticed me, and his sullen face turned bright in a matter of seconds.

"Ezra!" He walked to me happily.

"Morning!" I beamed.

The two of us hugged, then I looked up to him. "Where's Leo?"

"Oh," Sehan blinked. He scratched the back of his head, awkwardly. I looked at him strangely. "He's, doing something downstairs,"

"What is he doing?"

"..."

"Brother,"

"..."

"... Brother Sehan,"

"Ugh," Sehan groaned. "Fine!"

He looked around the room, then leaned closer to my ear.

"We're going to prank aunt,"

"!"

P-Prank?

Of course, they're going to prank Amanda. They're the daredevils of Conover.

"How?" I asked dryly.

Sehan giggled. "Leorys is going to tell aunty that you're at the maze garden. She'll go and find you, and she's going to be lost in there for hours!"

"..."

Heh, okay, that's pretty funny.

"Why you're not coming then?"

"Because I wanted to see the view," Sehan said happily. He pointed at the window.

The two of us walked over the window. I forgot that the view from the twins' room led to the garden. I see the guards, gardeners, and,

"Aunt," I wide my eyes when I see Amanda walked in the maze, searching for me.

Leorys is outside the maze. He looked up, noticed that we're looking at him, and he gave us a thumbs up.

Sehan burst into laughter, and I couldn't help but join in.

I take everything back about the twins.

An hour passed, and Amanda finally escaped the maze. She's dripping in sweat, her hair is all tangled, and her expression is dark. A couple of guards and servants who are in the area saw her and started to whisper. Amanda cleared her throat and tried to maintain her composure.

She walked back inside the mansion. Gracefully she took out her fan and started to fan herself to cool herself.

While walking down the empty hall, she saw Edgar walking casually with an envelope on his hand. Her eyes sharpened, curious about the letter. She ignored it and walked away.

Edgar didn't notice her appearance and continued walking to meet his brothers.

"Come closer everyone,"

Edgar announced.

We're in the twins' room. Juno arrived in time after finished doing his errands. This is it, Sylvester's letter.

All of us sat in the center of the room, waiting for Edgar to open the letter.

He tore the envelope down and took the letter out. I gulped, waiting patiently. Edgar started to read the letter, then his eyes twitched. His reaction made us even more curious.

"What did he say?" Leorys asked.

"... 'She is going to utilize Ezra since he has the power,'"
