Victorious

After seeing the mage's reaction to my transformation, I felt slight satisfaction. I couldn't see what I looked like, but I can see the veins emerging from my arms. I can feel it on my forehead, on my neck. My entire body. Within my body is as if it's filled with boiling water, ready to burst.

I just stood there, emitting my ability more and more. The ground shakes violently, I heard Lilith started to groan in pain. I glanced back from the corner of my eyes.

"Lilith, get out of here,"

"... Y-Yes,"

Lilith disappeared in an instant. I looked back at the mage who's mumbling something.

He's a bit far from me. If only he's closer, he would've get crushed easily because of my willpower.

It was a shield. He cast a light-purple shield that covered his body. He gets up from the ground and cleaned his robe.

"It'll be more troublesome than I thought," He said to himself.

Cih, he's still underestimating me?

I slowly walked over to him.

Using my willpower too much causing my body to get hotter and hotter. But I can't let this willpower overpower me. I'll keep using it until I can crush this mage.

The mage tried to cast more spells. This time, he summoned thousands of knives on the top of him. It's pointing at my way. A frightening smile formed on his skinny face. He swung his hand upwards, and the knives started to fly toward me at a high speed.

"... More," I muttered.

"?!" The mage widened his eyes in shock when the knives he threw easily flew downward abruptly. Getting crushed by the high amount of pressure that I emitted around me.

I started to walk again toward the mage. The mage took a step back, he glared at me. He started to create more knives. This time, there's a lot more. From knives to arrows. Arrows, then swords.

It's useless.

This willpower ability, the ability of a true King. Overpowering anything and anyone. These objects won't be able to hit me. My vision is fixed on the mage.

I could see him visibly sweating, his body started to shake.

I get it now. He's a powerful mage, but he's overusing his magic. He sealed high-leveled demons, and summoning those weapons and fires to hurt me.

He's exhausted.

"Urgh!" The mage stopped summoning weapons. He could feel the heavy aura around him and his shield started to tremble.

I need to quickly crush this man to the ground. I have to defeat him before my body got tired of overusing the willpower.

My body, they're burning. The veins in my body are pulsating, and the black steam started to come out of my skin. The mage tried to escape.

I lifted my hand up in the air, then turned it into fists.

With this movement I tried to deprives the oxygen at a rapid speed. Suppressing the air is hard work. I clenched my teeth when I felt I'm almost at my limit. Plus I have to hold my breath as well.

"Gah!"

The mage's shield shattered. He fell to the ground, gasping for air.

Come on, just a little more.

The mage can't cast anymore spell because he's out of air. My hand began to tremble.

My vision got more blurry, and blurry. My heart is beating fast, I could faint first if I keep depriving the oxygen.

Then, I saw the mage stopped moving.

"Ah!"

I gasped for air and fell to the ground. I took deep breaths and started to pant. The black steam disappeared from my body, the same as the veins. My body cools down with a cold sweat dripped from my forehead.

I did it...

I defeated the mage.

I feel like I'm about to faint at any time, but I can't faint now. I have to unseal my demons.

With the last bit of energy I had left, I get up from the ground and walked to the unconscious mage. There's foam coming out of his mouth. His eyes are red and his face is purple.

Disgust is welling up within me. I know I'm the one who killed this man, but at the same time, I hate seeing a dead body. I crouched down to collect the obsidians from the mage's pocket.

There are a lot of them.

"... Come out,"

Within two seconds, black steam covered almost the entire field since there are so many demons that got unsealed. It took a while until the smoke subsided. And the first thing I saw was Io, standing in front of me.

"Little master," He mumbled.

He looked around to check on the situation. The grass is all crumpled, the trees are bend, the mage is dead, the rocks turned into dust.

Io then looked at me again. He kneeled in front of me, with his head lowered.

"... Thank you for saving us, master,"

I didn't react to him. I didn't react to the other demons that kneeled to me. Even Callisto. I was too exhausted.

I only sighed and fell backward to the ground, then close my eyes.

I need to sleep.
