Sanctuary: Fey Realm Online

As I held my dagger and waited, the rustling grew louder and louder, it moved from the bushes into the trees and with the rustling came the occasional shriek.


Then from the corner of my eye I saw it.


It was large and ethereal, it had a ghostly white glow and looked like a furry dinosaur mixed with a falcon, it had a large beak and scaly face with a main of quill-like fur, above its head was the words


A Phantom Screecher... That was not in beta.


I readied my wings, using my experiences from Beta to controls them without the flight remote, and rose up to meet the Phantom Screecher eye-to-eye, this was actually very fortunate for me, creatures dropped a lot of things when they died, cores, skin, blood, bones, organs and a lot of other things, but if you were a necromancer and killed a monster, a special bone could drop, these bones could be slotted into summoned bone weapons to give them special effects, but apart from the chance of getting an ability on my dagger, the monster was also in my range for making it an undead.


The beast let out a terrifying screech as it flew towards me, in an effort to dodge and her a strike in, I flew towards it, and then at the last second I dropped down a meter, with my spriggan wings skill activating, and plunged my dagger into the beasts stomach while it was distracted.


As I balanced out and looked at the beast, I could see its wings starting to falter, it was defiantly hurt and this was further supported by the appearance of it's partially empty HP bar bellow it's name and level.


As the beast once again let out an ear splitting screech, it started to flap its wings in my direction, as it did so, blades of compressed air started to shot towards me at breakneck pace and this time, so couldn't dodge.


"Shit!" I yelled as I was hit with several blades of air, falling out of the air and hitting the ground with a *thud* I slowly got up to see that the Phantom Screecher was slowly closing in on me.


I had to do something, quickly, I could escape, but it was a lot faster than me and I think it could pass through things and hta would be hard to race against, I could fight, but I was down a significant amount of HP and I didn't want to lose anymore.


Then, like fireworks going off in my brain, I had an Idea.


"… Just a little closer" I whispered as it closed in... "Come on…" just a little closer
