In the end, Hal decided not to meddle for the time being. He had to keep his image to the rest of the class, so he had to ask both Eli and Lance instead of interrogating Leah directly.
"So, Hal, any idea where she is?" the brunette questioned to which he only smirked knowingly in reply.
"Let's see... Where in the world could Eli be-"

Contrary to his expectation, Eli wasn't with Zeke nor in trouble at all.
