Like a ghost, the white-haired dude just vanished out of nowhere.
Hal was perplexed. He knew that he couldn't have left already since this rose garden had only one entrance and exit, which was right behind them. He had to pass through them before he could do so.
That said, he and Eli should've noticed him earlier as well. But then, since she didn't sense any presence that time, he could probably be at ease for he may not be someone perilous like he thought.
"Hey, Harrison. Why didn't you show up at the field today? We still have a match, you know!" Ethan exclaimed, grabbing both of his shoulders and shaking him back and forth.
"What? Am I not allowed to rest from time to time? You guys never beat me, anyway," Hal remarked condescendingly.
"Not this time around, buddy! I just learned a special technique, so better brace yourself. Now, come on! Let's hit the field!"
"I can't. I'm waiting for Eli."
"Huh? Eli...? You mean Angelica?"
