Don't Wanna Be Cinderella

Too burned out after all the cleaning and mulling-overs she had done, Eli decided to settle down for a moment and take refuge in the company of her daily stress reliever.

"Let's read!" she exclaimed with feigned ebullience before flopping down on her seat, a book in hand.

The fact that the room was soulless right now worked best for her since she needed to loosen up a bit.

The classroom's empty by the time she arrived, probably because she got up too early this morning. It's not like she had a good night sleep anyway, especially with all the burdening thoughts that were currently weighing down on her.

Though Eli did think of reporting the previous incident with her locker to the faculty room, she recalled that the office was still close around this hour and her adviser was often tardy.

She then decided that she might as well do something more worthwhile than wait for rescue.
