Lively gathering

The sky is blue. Rare clouds looked like the test of the brush in the canvas of the sky. The air is absolutely transparent and breathing. But when one would look at the sun, you can see it not as a disc, but rather like a three-dimensional object. It is hard to understand how such transparent and light air can hold such an object as this huge, bright and hot sun. The birds in the sky break the illusion of absolute stillness. They move in the blue air and among the clouds, which never change their position.

If one chooses a necessary angle, you will see the reflection of the sun in the water. You will not see the sun itself because the surface of the ocean is not still, but you will see a small part of the sun in each of the waves. This will look like a patch of sunlight and the water gets a steel shade because of these patches. If one steps into the water and starts swimming at the moment like this, you will probably feel like swimming in the flow of light.

By the time where on one side, Aaric and Sasha were having quite silent chats, Alleyn and Amanda were enjoying their lovely moments.

Sometimes they would try to catch up or splash water at each other. Looking at that, Sasha peeked sideways to take a glance at the person. From the corner of his eye, he saw that she was glancing at him. He turned his head and directly looked into her eyes, making the latter to froze on the spot.

"You wanted to say something?" Aaric's sudden voice forced her to jolt back to her senses and looked at him. Realising that she has been caught, she lowered her head and tried to look somewhere else. At that time she heard the person chuckling softly. She looked at him and asked in an unhappy gtone.

"Why are you laughing at me?"

"I am not laughing at you. Anyways, tell me. You wanted to say something earlier?" Aaric cleared his throat and answered honestly.

Sasha could not understand how she should phrase that sentence but since she was his wife, she felt that she should not be hesitant.

"Do we used to enjoy like them?'

"We did." Aaric ruffled through his hair which the breeze had already messed up while answering her. He looked at his watch and frowned. He was about to give a call to Aunt Bell, suddenly there was a sound of door opening. He turned his head to look back and saw that few of the servants were coming with something a box like.

Aaric looked at the couple who had yet to finish their enjoyment and felt like he was guarding three children. The two mischievous ones were playing at the shore while the silent one was sitting beside him. He shook his head at this stupid thought. He called out their names before they could hear him.

Few minutes later, Alleyn and Amanda returned after changing into another set of clothes. In the meantime, servants had already set up the barbeque stand and other cooking stands to make dinner in the backyard near the sea shore.

The evening around the whole villa and the nearby area was spectacular. It was starting to get dark, but colourful lights were surrounding the whole villa and even the front backyard was lit in dim yellow lights. Everything seemed to be very lively.

The group of four went to the backyard and divided the work among themselves. The main cooking was under Aaric while Amanda and Alleyn started preparing ingredients. Since Sasha was still hesitant so she stayed beside Aaric to help him out.

Even though Sasha was not having any memory of her past life before the accident, still she could point out and help him out as necessary. This thing were not only observed by Aaric but the other couple too noticed that.

As Aaric was slathering the sauces on the barbeque meat, the smell was extremely tempting. He took a stick of barbeque meat and handed Sasha. She did not take it immediately. Looking at her hesitant face, he smiled slightly and nodded his head, gesturing to her to try it. She glanced around and took it quietly. She took a bite and instantly her eyes brightened as soon as the taste and flavours got melted inside her mouth. She looked back at him and smiled brightly.

With her warm smile, it was clear that she liked it a lot.

"Aaric, Sasha come over here and leave the rest to Aunt Bell." Suddenly Alleyn's voice sounded.

"We are coming in a few minutes. Only two sticks are left."

"Alright, quickly finish them up. The grilled fish are ready. It would turn cold, come quickly"

After five minutes, Aaric and Sasha came over with barbecued meat. Since, it had been a long time the two buddies gathered, the atmosphere was very lively and one could hear sounds of clapping and laughing more often.

After having their fill, Alleyn and Amanda went upstairs to rest and Sasha too decided to freshen up. Only Aaric was left behind, lying down on the lounge chair in the yard of the mansion while sipping coffee. His phone which was on the table rang. He placed the coffee mug on the table and glanced at the caller ID. The call was from Remo.

With a swift swipe, Aaric answered the call.

"Hello."

"Good evening boss. Today's report is ready. Should I deliver it to you?" Remo's voice sounded from the other side.

"Come straight to my study room." Aaric hung up the call as his face turned cold. He smirked and quickly took out his phone and glanced at the stock graph of Jones Enterprises.
