Everything seemed to be dark. Not even a single source of light was there. One could not even see their hands and legs in that black darkness, leaving the rest things.
Sasha felt like she had walked miles of distance, but she kept on walking on the dark road. She kept telling herself to walk till the end, there must be a way. At the end of the road, she might see light.
She walked down on the endless dark road and as she expected, she could see a tiny source of light coming from a distant. She almost ran there.
She found a heavy wooden door in front of her. She felt extremely happy. However when she pulled that door, she couldn't move an inch. She tried again and again. She tried till she was out of breath. But all her efforts were in vein.
She started praying for help. She wished that there would be someone who could help her to see the outside world on the other side of this door.
As she prayed, she felt someone touched her right hand where she was holding the handle of the door. She observed that the hand was bigger, warmer and stronger. She felt at ease by the hand's contact.
She looked at the person but she could not see his face. She kept staring at his back which looked broad and musculined. She wished she could see that person's face.
By that time, the man had already turned the door knob and pulled it to open. As soon as the door opened, Sasha saw the most beautiful sight she has ever seen.
The waves are crashing. The sun is setting. People are laughing and embracing under the sunset. Off in the distance the sun began to set in a sleepy unhurried fashion. The colors swirled together in a muddled mass across the sky.
The sight was so beautiful that Sasha was mesmerised by it. She looked around and noticed that the man she saw earlier had disappeared. Even the door and the darkness were not there, as both the things never appeared.
She was confused but when she looked at the scenery it was insanely beautiful. As she gaily walked down on the shoreline she could feel the sand squish slowly through her toes. That very feeling, the moments and ofcourse the scenery was just amazing.
She was enjoying every moment at the beach side. While walking on the side of the shoreline, she noticed that a black figure was walking ahead of her. Noticing his broad back, she thought that he might be the same person. She wanted to thank him for his help so she started walking towards him. She tried to catch him up but could not. No matter how fast she walked, the distance between them remained the same.
She wanted to call him but before she could, suddenly the figure stopped in his tracks. Surprisingly, the figure turned around and looked at her.
Sasha stared at the person in front of her. She felt that the man looked quite familiar to her but no matter how many times she searched in her memory, she could not remember.
The man was tall with a height of around 6 feet. He had dark hair and pitch black color eyes.
She never felt such kind of attraction to anybody. There was dead silence between the two of them. Neither that dark figure uttered a single word nor Sasha spoke something. She just stared at him without blinking. After a while, she opened her mouth to speak, but only one name came on the tip of her tongue.
"Aaric… Is it you?" She tried to guess, hoping he might reply. This person resembled Aaric a lot. She wanted to make sure that he is the same person she is thinking of.
She moved closer and tried to touch the man's face, but before her hand could feel his skin, everything blanked out. The whole area got engulfed into darkness.
Tick! Tick!
'It is a sound of watch ticking.'
'Augh… Why is it hard to open eyes?'
'I have to try…'
After few times, finally Sasha opened her eyes, as soon as she looked around she saw Aaric's anxious face. She smiled at him and said in a hoarse voice.
"I saw you…"
