Possessiveness and insecurities (1)

Alleyn was having a very hard time right now. He looked at the person on the bed who was flipping through his chats and mails, crunching on potato chips in between.

"Babe! Why are you believing that henpecked mother? Don't you trust me?" He looked at Amanda with his pleading eyes. If only she received those false angle pictures, he was done. Done for sure.

"Dear hubby, why don't you share with me then, huh? How was your enjoyment there?" Amanda smiled as she narrowed her glaring eyes and looked at Alleyn. The latter was too shocked from her outrage that he just wished that he could just reverse the time and would have stopped himself from spilling the beans.

He could just sigh to himself in regret.

Amanda was too upset with this sudden discovery about her husband that she just could not stop herself from feeling sad. She could not believe how he could lie to her. She threw the phone on the bed and sat up. She looked at the person who was kneeling down on the floor with his head lowered. Suddenly looking at him, kneeling down made her heart clench in pain. Her heart started to hurt for him.

"You can get up." With just a few words she left the bedroom and went out.

Her raspy voice made Alleyn feel hurt. He lifted his gaze only to watch her leaving the bedroom with her shoulders trembling. He tried to stand but as he was kneeling down for almost one hour continuously, his legs gave out. He lifted his trouser and looked at the backside of his knee, only to find a small patch of blood clot.

Alleyn just grab a bottle of massage oil from the drawer of the side stand and quickly applied it in a very smeary manner. He tossed it on the floor before going after Amanda with the quickest speed.

He looked around the main hall and outyard but could not find her there. He frowned and turned his head towards the parking garage. He rushed towards the closed garage and rotated the wheel to lift up the iron garage. But to his surprise, Amanda's car and as well as all the three cars were there in the parking lot. 'Then she must be on the terrace. What terrace? Ohh no!!'

Alleyn was feeling very contempt when he saw the cars in the parking lot. The next second when he realised that she might be on the terrace, his mind went blank. Suddenly his mind started to generate all wild and horrible thoughts.

'Amanda please you have to listen to me!'

'Just don't do anything impulsive, please!'

On the spur of the moment, Alleyn felt like his house was way too big for them. The distance he needed to cover seemed to be no less than a marathon running track. No matter how fast he ran, he still needed to rush upstairs as fast as he could or else he could not imagine what would happen.

The moment he reached the terrace gates, his eyes went straight to the main railings. His eyes did not watch that familiar figure there. He rushed forward and looked down, just then he heard somebody sniffling.

He turned his head abruptly to the direction of sound, only to find her curled up into a corner. Her head was buried into her knees, rapping both her arms around them as if she was trying to ball herself up.

Alleyn could clearly see that her shoulders were trembling badly, she was crying. Since their childhood days, she had placed all her love and trust on just one person. The only person till today who treated her with all the kindness, love and care. Even the love and care she deserved since her birth, but was so unfortunate to receive them.

He understood her pain, but how was he supposed to clarify and prove his innocence for a crime he did not commit. The only person who could do that was Aaric, but not now. His friend was too mad at him right now or else why he would have blurted these things.

Alleyn felt like jumping from the top. He pinched the space between his eyes as he walked towards with light steps.

Hearing the voice of footsteps coming closer, she curled up more and tightened her hands. She just did not want to see this person right now.
