"Are you sure that she's the one that you saw?"

"Affirmative, bro. I've seen so many pics of her I could draw her with eyes closed though now she's blonde"

"Thanks"

I felt eyes on me and a thought told me to look at Beth which I did and truly she was looking. I walked to her slowly trying to clear my mind from the anger I was feeling.

When she asked, "she doesn't know Ken?"

I don't know if she referring to Ken or 'she' which I hoped it was the former. So I just dwelled on that and she didn't ask further to my relief.

I went a little out of control when I pecked her. That was my heart working without permission. I snuck out to meet Ken.

"Shoot"

'Shoot?' who says that?

"Can't believe you're going R-18 on me right now"

"Well you are too young to hear certain things"

'Dear Lord'

"What's the problem?"

"I left my wallet inside"

"Seriously, dude?"

She shrugged and looked at me with puppy eyes. I heaved a sigh.

"Alright, but I'm coming with you"

"Why?"

"Cos you might just see a dress you like, or that top that matches your eyes. Don't get me started on those drop dead shorts" I mimicked her gestures.

She burst out laughing.

"You know me too well"

"Yeah. Let's go"

We headed to where she dropped it. We found it and almost left but there was a crowd and someone was cussing.

"Let's go watch Seth"

"No we are going home"

"say that again and I'll give you the slap your mom should've given you"

"Wha-wha-what!! That was real smooth but that voice sounded like..." Ken turned to me.

"Let's go" I pulled her with me.

I got the literal shock of my life. This girl had Beth's features but her eyes were red like gold and red mixed. Beautiful but they had a murderous glint.

I don't know how she did it but she managed to break the girl's nose and land her on the floor.

Her mom called her Lisbeth but as soon as she faced her mom, Mrs Millers moved back before calling her Athena.

Athena?

Mrs Millers successfully placated 'Athena' who said nothing and instead carried Becca away. The girl stayed on the floor until the Millers left as if she was expecting her to come back.

As soon as they left she sprang off the floor and pushed her mom screaming why her mom didn't support her.

Her mom had her back to me so I saw the girl's blonde hair which was standing in all directions like it was searching for wifi.

Her mom only shook her head and apologized to the manager of the mall before walking out. I felt a hole boring in my chest and looked for the source. It was the crazy girl.

I turned to McKenna, "is it me or is crazytown here familiar?"

"Seth, let's just leave" I nodded.

"Great idea"

We left the mall and went in search of the Millers. Ken spotted Beth treating Becca and we went over.

"Beth"

She stiffened before turning. She thought that I had gone home. Her eyes slowly returned to the beautiful amber I was used to. Before I could say anything, Kenna flew to Beth's embrace.

"You were awesome girl. I think I'm in love"

"Hahaha" I faked a laugh while glaring at Ken.

"Too bad. Beth already has an MCE" Becca winked at me after saying that.

"Ahem... seems like your scratches don't hurt anymore" Beth said with an evil smile.

Becca's face grew pale, "it's alright"

"Ok hey is that Trina?"

"where?"

Bec strained her neck to look in that direction. Beth used the opportunity to apply the methylated spirit on Becca's hand. The latter yelped and Beth sprinted away. Becca followed in hot pursuit but Beth was fast.

Becca stopped to catch her breath. Beth started mocking her.

"Aw c'mon, is that the best you can do. Shame on you so much for being the head of the cheerleaders. Tsk tsk tsk"

"I'm gonna kill you when I get you"

"Ok but at least try to catch me"

"I give up"

"Atta girl"

Bec turned to us and smiled before falling on the ground. We all ran to her although I saw through her act and I'm sure Ken did too. Beth was panicking.

"What to do, what to do..." she kept repeating it like a chant until Mrs Millers came with a few shopping bags. I was beginning to wonder where she was.

Alessa gave each of us a few bags. She asked us to be silent except Beth. She hurried to the car and came back with a bottle of water.

She mouthed to Beth, 'camera, no, video. video this'

Beth did as she told while chanting. Alessa opened the bottle and emptied its contents on Becca. Bec wiped her face so she could open her eyes. Alessa sneakily put the bottle in one of the bags. Beth hid the phone in a way that she could still video. Bec opened her eyes and stood up.

"What the fu...", she paused when she sighted her mom, "reaking hell"

"Language, plus fu-reaking is not a word"

"freaking I said freaking" Bec said trying to make Beth shut up but the latter pretended not to notice anything and carried on.

"*gasp*.. there are kids here Rebecca mind your language, you are not old enough to be saying such nonsense. Keep your voice down will you" Beth looked around.
