Chapter 96: Blinded

He didn't make a comment but his moves became playful, like a predator playing with its prey.

She felt irritated with his behavior and suddenly turned aggressive, making her attacks more vicious than before.

He graciously lifted an eye with amusement, making a vein pop on her head looking at his mocking expression.

In a single step, he crossed the arm-length distance between them, by twisting the hand she was holding the sword to her back, to which she pointed it towards his neck in a horizontal axis and, simultaneously, his sword was holding her chin up in a vertical position.

Ahi was breathing hard, eagerly taking the much needed oxygen that was missed out due to their heavy training session.

'Man! It's been so long since I did such a heavy workout.' she thought.

"What?" she gasped, trying to catch her breath, " you are much more experienced,huff*"

"-than me, and I wore you out *huff already?" she mocked him, taking quick breaths in between.
