Hao Ran and his friends were still in shock, but they were more qualified than anyone else to admit the truth because they had been through the whole progress.

While Shao Feifei, Gu Xiaoxiao and their friends were totally unwilling to accept the fact.

Hao Ran" Shut your bloody mouth up! Don't think that I'm not one to punch women!" Hao Ran shouted at Shao Feifei in great anger like he was about to beat her. Shao Feifei immediately shut her mouth, holding her breath in horror.

As she was walking away she got a notification. One was about her winnings and the second was from Isaiah. She smiled and thought if it wasn't for him, she wouldn't have thought of the idea of betting and getting the money of those who ridiculed her.

But she did wonder why he wasn't here. So she texted his asking. He replied 30 seconds later. Happy with the reply she put her phone away and walked with her friends.

ISAIAH POV

As Isaiah had no more classes he decided to walk around the city. Try find new things or maybe meet new people.

As he was walking he noticed a female police officer running towards him. She seemed to be chasing someone. Just as he was about to ignore it and walk on he noticed that a truck was heading down the highway at high speed.

He knew that by the time she realized while the man could flee with his life she would not.

At that moment the assailant had already ran across the busy road the police officer wasn't that far behind.

The moment she was about to cross the street to chase the suspect she saw a truck a few metres away from her. And it didn't look like it was about to stop. Fear was plastered on the woman Face. She closed her eyes waiting for the pain. But just as she thought it was the end an arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her back.

She waited for a few more seconds but realized there was no pain.

???' Eh, wasn't I just about to get hit by a truck. Did it hit me so hard that I didn't feel anything.' Just as she thought those things, she smelt something nice. It smelt like vanilla and peppermint. Then after the smell, she felt warm around her backside and stomach.

She opened her eyes to see that she was on the ground But there were no injuries on her. She finally notices a pair of strong muscular arms wrapped around her hips.

Isaiah" Are you, ok miss. You need to watch where you're going. You could have died just now."

She looked behind her to see who her saviour was but he had a mask and a hood on.

???" Thank you for saving me. But can ask you to let me go." She wasn't trying to be rude to the one that had just saved her but this is the closest contact she has ever had with a male. So although she hid it well she was uncomfortable but strangle relaxed. She wouldn't say she hated it but it was her first so it was never the less weird.

Isaiah" Oh, Ye, sorry about that." He let her go but not before helping her up which she appreciated." Well if that's all I'll be on my way." He was about to leave but she had grabbed his arm before he could.

???" Sorry, but I'll need your name, address and phone number. I need to file a report so I might need to contact you. I'm officer Lingshan. But you can call me Song Lingshan if you like."

Isaiah" Song Lingshan, it's a nice name. The names Isaiah, my phone is ********* and my address is ******* *****. "

Lingshan" Thank you. If I need you I'll call. And thank you again for saving me."

Isaiah" Again it's no problem. Then I'll be off unless there's something else you need."

Lingshan" No there's nothing."

As she didn't need anything else. I left to pick up some more food. All while Song Lingshan watched as her saviour Left.

What she didn't tell him was her needing his contacts was a lie. She didn't know what came over her but she didn't want to miss the chance of ever seeing him again.
