"D-D-Did you just use magic?" Colby stuttered, clearly surprised.
"Yeah… Most kids in my kingdom are tested for magic as soon as they can talk," Lizzy said looking at him strangely. "Didn't you get tested?" She asked.
"No, I didn't know magic could be used in this world." Colby said, confused.
"Well I came from the past so clearly it's possible" Lizzy said and walked into the door.
"Wait! Stop! You'll run into it!" Colby shouted but she went right through it.
"It's fine," Lizzy said, sounding as if she was far away. "Just walk through it."
"Okay… If you say so…" Colby said and walked through it to find he was in a massive room filled with books. "Woah… this is so cool!" He said laughing.
"Look! There is a wand!" Lizzy shouted with pure joy. "And it works!"
"Huh? What do you mean 'it works'?" Colby asked, confused again.
"Look up!" Lizzy shouted so he did and saw at least 50 books floating in the air.
"WHAT?" Colby yelled. "Why are there books in the air?"
"Magic, of course" Lizzy said and Colby saw her in the air holding a long stick adorned with a gem and with more of the glowing hieroglyphics on it. "See? I can fly too!"
"Umm you do know your hair changed color and you have ears and wings now right?" Colby asked looking up at her. "And it looks like your outfit changed too."
"Wait, WHAT?" Lizzy shouted after seeing her hair. "Wait let's see… what was the word again?" She said sitting down next to him.
"Huh? What word?" Colby said looking at her.
"Ah yes…" Lizzy murmurd. "KAGAMI!" She yelled and in a flash of bright mint green light a mirror appeared.
"What! More magic?" Colby said surprised.
"I like this! The ears and wings contrast with the new hair color and outfit!" Lizzy said with a laugh.
