Chapter 2 part 1

"What did Landon mean?" Lizzy said with her brow furrowed. "He is closer than I think?"

"I think he means that he is here as someone close to you? Maybe?" Colby said slightly confused. "I mean he is a mage. And an elf."

"Yeah... Maybe. Yeah actually that would make sense." Lizzy said smiling. "And I know who it most likely is!"

"Huh? Who?" Colby asked her.

"Not telling!" Lizzy said with a smirk.

"Seriously?" Colby asked.

"Yep!" Lizzy said grinning.

"Ugh. Fine. But we should head back now," Colby said and ran off.

"Hey!" Lizzy yelled and caught up with him.

"Payback!" Colby said and then saw what she was doing. "Hey! Cheater!"

"I'm not cheating. It's not a race!" Lizzy said and flew up higher on her little cloud.

"Fine! I give up! I never win when we have a verbal sparring match like this!" Colby said and summoned his own cloud pet.

"Hey look! We're almost there!" Lizzy exclaimed from above him.

"Wow! These are fast!" Colby exclaimed happily.

"Speaking of sparring..." Lizzy said with a grin.

"Nooo! Seriously?" Colby asked her.

"Yep! Sparring practice is next!" Lizzy said still grinning.

"Who am I up against today?" Colby asked her. {Please not her, please not her}

"Let's see..." Lizzy said lost in thought again. "Ah! Me!"

"Oh no!" Colby exclaimed. "Not you! I don't want to wind up in the dirt again!"

"Don't worry! I can go easy on you!" Lizzy said with a smirk.

"Nope! Don't go easy on me! I need to get better!" Colby exclaimed looking determined.

"Ok, if you say so," Lizzy said still smirking. "Now to the sparring arena!"

"Ok..." Colby said looking kinda worried now.
