"Woah..." I said out loud. :Is this a palace?:
:Yes. It is also were you are going to live.:
:Cool!: Then I saw a young man who was very pretty. And I mean this as a feminine pretty. The man was obviously young but his hair had white steaks in it. His eyes were a silvery color and they looked very sad. I have the 'ability' to see the most prominent emotion in a person's eyes. Their face can be expressionless but if I look in their eyes I will know what they are feeling. But this man, he has seen the death of a person important to him and it still haunts him. There is no happiness in his eyes.
:This 'sad man' is named Vanyel Ashkevron.:
:Stop listening to what I'm thinking!:
:How?: I heard a deeper voice than that of my companion's.
:Who are you?: I was slightly panicked now.
:I am right in front of you.: The voice responded I looked and saw a blue glowing shape that swirled around in front of her.
:A swirling, glowing, blue shape?: I asked confused.
:Lizzy you're using Magesight.: Rosemarie told me.
:What? How is she using Magesight Rosemarie? I thought she was untrained!:
:She is. However she was trained for a different kind of magic. So that training might make it so she can do certain things.:
:Can you guys stop talking about me like I'm not here?: I Mindshouted and I saw Vanyel flinch since the 'Magesight' stopped. :Sorry Vanyel. I didn't mean to hurt you.:
:No you were right. We were being rude.: Vanyel replied and his Mindspeech was tinted with pain. "Let's get inside. It looks like it's about to rain."
:Goodbye Lizzy.:
"Where are you going?" I asked out loud.
:To the stables.:
"Oh. Well bye."
"Let's go." Vanyel said and took me into the palace. :Hey. Mind if I talk to you like this?:
:Not at all. This feels more natural for me.:
:Even though people will know your every thought?:
:They won't.: I then shielded my thoughts from him. :Try to read my thoughts now.: I felt him pushing on my shield with his mind.
:How? Are you sure you weren't trained?:
:I wasn't. I somehow knew how to block you from my mind.:
:Odd. Very odd.:
:Where are we going?:
:To the Herald's wing. There's someone you need to meet.:
