A linear fracture.

As the CT scan finished, Doctor Peters and Doctor Lauren immediately saw a linear fracture on the left side of his forehead.

The linear measurements obtained from each computed slides from the tomography machine are in centimeters, and the fracture size is almost 5 centimeters.

His brain showed in the monitor is divided into two halves, the left half of the detective Adam Knight's has signs of bruising and slight inflammation just above the wound in his forehead.

Note:

*Our left brain controls movement and sensation in the right side of the body, and the right half controls movement and sensitivity on the left side. Thus, damage to the right side of the brain may cause movement problems or weakness in our left side of the body.

Seeing the results as the CT scan finished the last rotation of the machine doctor Amy Lauren step out and made a call to the ER department.

Before detective Adam Knight has come out of the machine, a nurse and attendant have arrived with a hospital bed that is ready just parked in the corner of the entrance hall of the CT scan room.

*Most people have their left half of the brain is responsible for verbal and logical functions includes language (listening, reading, speaking, and writing), thoughts, and memory involving words.

He step-outs of the CT scan machine and went to grab his belongings inside the changing area, Adam saw his friend in the next room partitions with a large glass window. He walks towards them and knocks on the window wall that separates them.

Doctor Peters and Doc Lauren seem to be discussing earnestly when the tap-tap sound echoes near them. He turns and presses down the intercom and said, "please wait in the waiting area."

The detective saw the seriousness in the man's voice as he instructs with his hand, and the technician came back with a wheelchair in his hand, and he wheeled him out of the room to the waiting area.

Adam saw two new doctors came into the room where the two doctors are, and a few minutes later, Doc Amy came out first, and head towards him.

She smiled at him and said, " Very well, Mr. Knight? I'll be processing your admission, and we will go back to the ICU ward of the ER department."

Before he could voice out some words, he notices the hospital staff next to her.

"We will explain to you the details of your prognosis, and please be patient." Amy continues.

The staff was carrying the hospital bed, then politely asked the detective to lay on top of it.

He looked questioningly, but he followed what the lady doctor said.

A moment of silence can fill the hall as they moved toward the ICU ward, and you can hear the machines and equipment, making sounds as it is connected to sustain a patient alive.

She felt some indescribable sympathy as she pushes the bed. She didn't notice her right hand was holding Adam's left hand as she wheeled him to his room.

He unconsciously smiled as he felt the warmth of her hand. At first, he wants to go against admission to the hospital, but he instantly saw her concern in his case, and for some reason, he felt it is not that bad to stay in the hospital for a few days as he can monitor his partner's condition.

The silence broke, they entered the room, and Doc Amy asked him, "We will need a guardian for you, do you have someone who can stay with you?". One of the nurses next to her handed the female doctor some clipped admission paper and excused themselves.

And he nods as he gave her his mobile phone.

She reaches for his cell phone when the indoor to the room open.

Doc Peters saw the paper and asked, "So, you still haven't told her?". He grinned at the guy lying in bed.

Doc Peters walks next to the beautiful doctor. Amy, who looked, and questioning her colleague's action was surprised as he grabs and collect the paper in one of her hands and the other holding her patient's phone.

Feeling irritated as the other man continues to hold the undoubtedly attractive doctor even though she is still wearing a patient's gown. Detective Adam Knight irritatingly said, "Dage."
