Jason stood inside an underground facility. The entire facility was made of black rock and looked relatively clean. There was no trash to be seen anywhere within the facility.
The facility had a very creepy feeling to it. There was not a single person to be seen within the entire facility. It looked completely deserted.
Jason thought as he looked at the empty facility. "Where is everybody?" He looked over at Jack who was standing over to his right side.
Jack said with a confused look on his face. "What?"
Jason said. "Are you sure this is the right place?"
Jack shrugged and said. "Yeah. This is definitely the same subway I was in before."
Jason looked at Jack and then looked at the empty facility as he thought. "Is he screwing with me again? This place looks deserted."
Jack said. "Alright we should get going." He walked forward into the empty facility.
Jason followed behind Jack and said. "Where are we going?"
Jack continued walking as he said. "To the train, obviously. Where else would we go?"
Jason thought as he walked. "The train? But, I don't see any trains down here." He looked at Jack suspiciously as he thought. "Is there really a train down here? Or is this some kind of trap?"
Jack suddenly stopped walking. He stood at the edge of the walkway. Beyond the walkway was a very long tunnel that extended in both directions.
Jason was surprised by Jack suddenly stopping. Jason immediately tried to bring himself to a sudden halt but ended up crashing into Jack as a result.
Jack fell toward the edge of the walkway but then suddenly stopped falling. It looked as if Jack had crashed into an object but there was nothing there. There was only air.
Jack regained his posture and stood normally again. He looked back at Jason with a worried expression on his face and then looked forward again. He said with his back facing Jason. "It should be here soon."
Jason thought as he looked at Jack. "What was that?" He rubbed his eyes and thought. "Was I seeing things?"
Jason and Jack both stood in silence. They waited several minutes for something, anything to happen.
Jason suddenly heard the ground rumble. He turned and looked, to his left, toward the source of the sound. The sound gradually began to get louder.
Jason saw a blurred object appear at the end of the tunnel. The blurred object got rapidly closer to Jason at an alarming rate.
Both Jason and Jack backed up at least one meter from the edge of the walkway. They both continued to stare at the blurred object until it disappeared.
Jason looked in front of him. He saw a long black train that was made out of smooth, shiny material. The material looked flexible and lightweight but also very sturdy.
Jason looked at Jack and then at the train as he thought. "I guess he wasn't lying."
Part of the wall of the train began to open outward. Half of the wall that opened went to the left and the other half went to the right. When the wall finished moving an opening that led into the train was revealed.
Jason looked at the interior of the train with disappointment as he thought. "This looks just like the trains on the surface."
The interior of the train was black just like the rest of the train. The floor was made out of the same smooth, shiny material as the rest of the train.
Both Jason and Jack looked at each other. They both nodded. They both walked toward the train.
Jack got onto the train first with Jason following behind him.
After Jason and Jack stepped onto the train the wall closed behind them. There was a click as soon as the wall closed.
Jason looked around at his surroundings. He stood in a walkway within the train with Jack standing in front of him. To Jason's left was a black door and to Jason's right was another black door.
Jason saw a key card reader on the side of both black doors and thought. "Are they locked?"
Jason looked at Jack and thought. "Does he have a card?"
Jack pulled a blue and black card out of his pocket. He swiped it across the key card reader that was to his right. The black door immediately opened as a result.
Jack walked through the door and Jason followed behind him. But, as soon as Jack walked through the doorway the door immediately shut behind him.
Jason was unable to walk through the door in time and was left stuck in the main walkway.
Jason looked at the black door and then at the rest of the room as he thought. "So, that is how it works." He grabbed the hilt of his sword and looked at the black door in front of him as he thought. "I'll just cut it down!"
The black door suddenly opened.
Jason stared at the door with a confused look as he thought. "It opened?" He let go of the hilt of his sword and looked around him as he thought. "But how?"
Jason looked at the black door suspiciously and walked through the doorway. As soon as Jason walked through the doorway he saw Jack looking back at him.
Jack said. "What's wrong? Why do you look like you've just seen a ghost?"
Jason looked behind him. The black door that had opened him for him was now closed.
Jason looked back at Jack and asked. "Were you the one that opened the door?"
Jack said with a confused expression on his face. "No. How could I? I'm all the way over here."
Jason said. "What?" He looked back at the door which was still closed and said. "Then what opened it?"
Jack said. "It could've opened itself."
Jason looked back at Jack and said. "What?! Opened itself?!"
Jack shrugged and said. "Yeah. There are rumors of this train being haunted."
Jason said. "Wait, what?! What do you mean haunted?"
Jack asked. "You didn't notice? There isn't a single person on this train other than us three."
Jason looked around him. He saw empty seat upon empty seat. Only one seat was not empty but it instead had Thomas filling its cushion.
Jason looked back at Jack. A cold chill went down his spine as he thought. "Something doesn't feel right about this. He's definitely hiding something!"
Jack laughed and said. "Why do you look so tense? I was only joking. Sit down already. We'll be there soon."
Jason said while surprised. "We've already started moving?"
Jack scratched the back of his head and said. "Yeah I think so." He pointed his right hand at the windows and said. "See, look at the windows."
Jason looked at the windows and he saw blurred images of scenery pass by the windows. He thought as he looked at the windows. "How strange. I didn't even feel the train start moving."
Jack said. "You might as well sit down and rest. We should be there in about five minutes."
Jason looked at Jack said. "Five minutes?"
Jack said. "Yeah. About five minutes have passed since we got on the train and it only takes ten minutes to get to any destination. So, we should be there in about five minutes."
Jason said. "Ten minutes? It used to take thirty."
Jack sighed. "Yeah. That is Lightning Corp for you." He walked over to a seat and sat down as he said. "They're always improving."
Jason remained standing as he mumbled to himself. "Always improving, huh?"
Jason looked around at the seats around him. He walked over to a seat placed near the window and sat down. He looked at the blurred images of scenery pass by the windows as he thought. "It's been so long since I've had to travel like this. It feels so different compared to three years ago."
