Jack looked up at the sky and then looked at his white watch which was on the wrist of his left arm.
Jason watched as Jack's facial expressions suddenly changed. Immediately after Jack looked at his watch his facial expressions shifted from being calm and relaxed to a look of pure fear. Jason noticed Jack's body shake as Jack breathed heavily.
Jason thought as he stared at Jack. "Is he afraid of something...? What could someone like him possibly be afraid of...?" Jason grabbed the hilt of his sword with his left hand. He looked around at his surroundings with a stern expression.
Jason spotted multiple people standing in the street looking at him. The people standing in the street looked at Jason's left hand, which was placed on the hilt of his sword, and began to back away from Jason as they looked at Jason with a fearful expression.
Jason clicked his tongue as he glared angrily at the people backing away from him. He let go of the hilt of his sword. He looked back at Jack.
Jack's body continued to shake. He continued to breathe heavily.
Jason said to Jack with concern. "Hey! What's wrong?!"
Jack did not respond to Jason. His body continued to shake and he continued to breathe heavily.
A worried expression appeared on Jason's face. Jason moved closer to Jack and grabbed Jack's shoulders with both of his hands. He shook Jack back and forth as he said with a worried tone. "Jack! Answer me you idiot! What's the matter with you?!"
Jack muttered something Jason couldn't understand.
Jason stopped shaking Jack. He looked at Jack with a worried expression as he said. "Jack...?"
Jack looked at Jason. His earlier expression of fear had disappeared. An expression of confusion was now plastered on Jack's face.
Jack looked at Jason with a confused expression for several seconds. Jack then looked to his left and then to his right. He noticed Jason's hands on his shoulders.
Jack looked at Jason's hands and then looked at Jason as he said. "What are you doing?"
Jason took his hands off Jack's shoulder. He then said. "You're finally back to your senses?"
Jack said while confused. "Back to my senses? What are you talking about?"
Jason said in a serious tone. "You were frozen. You looked like you were paralyzed by something."
Jack said. "Huh?" He laughed and then patted Jason's left shoulder two times as he said. "Paralyzed? Are you sure you're okay Jason? What could I possibly be afraid of out here?" He gestured to the civilians that were walking through the streets.
Jason stared at Jack and thought. "Afraid? I never mentioned you being afraid..."
Jack chuckled and said. "What is with that serious look? Lighten up." He patted Jason on the left shoulder again as he said. "Come on let's go!"
Jason narrowed his eyes as he said. "Go where?"
Jack said. "Huh?" His smile disappeared.
Jason asked. "Where are we going?"
Jack stared intently at Jason and said. "Did you already forget?"
Jason said. "Forget what?"
Jack said. "We are going to go get Thomas."
Jason said in a hostile tone. "Huh? What do we mean 'we'? I never agreed to help you!"
Jack sighed as he said. "Fine. I'll just do it myself." Jack turned his back on Jason and began to walk away.
Jason stood and watched Jack as Jack walked away from him. Jack then suddenly stopped stopped walking.
Jason said to Jack. "What's wrong? Why did you stop?" He chuckled as he said. "Did you finally realize Thomas isn't worth finding?"
Jack said with his back facing Jason. "Jason."
Jason said. "What?"
Jack looked back at Jason and said with a fierce expression. "Shut up."
Jason frowned.
Jack turned and faced Jason as he said. "Thomas is currently the most important member of the team. Finding Thomas is more important than anything else right now."
Jason said angrily. "What the hell did you just say?! Most important?!" He yelled out. "That idiot hasn't done anything useful at all! He is the most useless member of this so called 'team'! He has lost every fight he has been in! He can't even stay conscious longer than five minutes! And... he couldn't even stop Marcus!"
Jack stared intently at Jason for several moments as he muttered. "Stop Marcus?" A pained expression appeared on his face as he said. "Thomas isn't at fault for that."
Jason yelled out angrily. "Then who is?!"
Jack looked at Jason then looked at the ground as he said. "I can't answer that." He turned his back to Jason as he began to walk away again.
Jason muttered angrily under his breath. "Of course you can't."
Jason looked around at his surroundings. He saw multiple people standing in the street staring at him. He yelled at the group of people. "What the hell are you pieces of trash looking at?!"
The people standing in the street staring at Jason looked away from Jason and began to quickly walk away.
Jason muttered to himself. "Bunch of cowards." He began to walk onto the street directly in front of him and then turned left. He walked the opposite direction as Jack. Jack went to the right and Jason went to the left.
Jason walked through the street for several minutes as he continued to walk straight. He passed by several buildings and several people who were walking the opposite direction. Jason walked on the right side of the street while the people that were heading the opposite direction as Jason walked on the left side of the street.
Jason continued walking through the street. As Jason walked he saw someone run past several people on the left side of the road.
Jason saw a girl with long blonde hair run past several people. The blonde girl wore a black sweatshirt with an orange strip that went all the way down both, the left and right, sides of her shirt. The orange strip was also on the upper arm and under arm of both of her arms. The sweatshirt also had an orange collar. The girl also wore black sweatpants which had an orange strip on the left side of the left pant leg and on the right side of the right pant leg.
The blonde girl managed to collide into several people as she attempted to run past them. Some people fell onto the ground while others were propelled a few centimeters away from their original position.
Everytime the blonde girl collided into somebody she would always yell out. "Sorry". She would then continue running. As she crashed into yet another person she looked back to say something and then caught sight of Jason.
Jason and the blonde girl both made eye contact with each other. Jason could see her blue eyes and she could see his green eyes.
The blonde girl suddenly stopped running as she looked at Jason with a confused expression. She looked back and forth between Jason and the direction she was running toward.
Jason stopped walking. He looked at the blonde girl with an irritated expression as he thought. "Why is this weirdo staring at me?" He started walking again.
He walked several meters and then looked over his left shoulder to look back at the blonde girl as he thought. "Why does she seem familiar?"
The blonde girl which had been previously staring at Jason was no longer staring at Jason. Jason could only see her back as she once again began to run through the street again.
Jason looked forward again as he thought. "How strange." He continued to walk through the street.
After several minutes once again passed Jason heard a man yell out. "Does anyone know this person? Sir, do you know him? What about you, ma'am?
Jason thought. "What is going on?" He looked around at his surroundings and spotted a man holding a device which took up his entire hand. The device had a screen which illuminated.
The man showed the screen of the device to multiple people as he asked. "Do you know this person? What about you?"
Everyone that the man showed the screen of the device to shook their head and continued walking.
Jason thought. "A phone? People still use one?"
The man spotted Jason and quickly walked over to Jason as he said. "Sir! Sir! Do you know this person?" The man stopped in front of Jason and then showed the screen of his phone to Jason.
Jason looked at the phone screen. A look of immediate shock appeared on his face as he said. "That's-"
