Spatial magic

"Anyway back to the question of spatial magic did you view the Criton memory in the library?"

"Yeah i did, but i haven't tried this yet."

"Ok well if you managed to do that you would be the first ever."

Leo's eye's widen but then he decides to ask a why.

"Why has no one been able to use spatial magic yet?"

"Well it not that people haven't tried, it's that they have all died or disappeared!!!"

Leo thinking about how this is problem is the same back on earth, but earth never had magic, so thinking about teleportation theories, he decides this might be possible plus he had a memory of a Criton doing so it should be possible.

"Well i think it's definitely possible i will try to do it with with a object first so i don't die haha"

"Well don't say i didn't warn you."

{Yuna is there a way to do this?}

{Well given the science from back on earth and the magic here i think it is indeed possible if we transfer the data of the object through preons.}

Leo thinking about this he read article from max, that was talking about data transfer through preons, this is the particle smaller than quarks which make up the quantum field its a mysterious particle that not many have been able to study, but max had made a break through in this area in the observation of them.

{This particle is the one that allowed me to travel here but the energy needed to do so is phenomenal.}

{Ok so will we be actually be able to transfer data then?}

{Yes as this is the same quantum realm, the way that i managed transfer realms is through a preons signature energy i searched for a anomaly that had ties similar to earth but not earth its self.}

{I looked for a star signature similar to are own then read all the data regarding the planet before transferring to make sure it was similar.}

Leon looking at Leo with a intrigued look.

"Hey you ok?"

Leo had not noticed he was staring off into space.

"Oh, sure i'm thinking about how i would use spatial magic."

Leon dragging a dummy into the middle of the training area.

"Well let's continue with something else can you try destroy the dummy."

"When you say destroy do you mean nothing left or just damage it?"

"It's up to you do you worst this will let me gauge your output and capacity in a fight."

Leo standing about 25m away from the dummy takes a deep breath.

"Ok i'll go try to destroy it entirely."

Leon eyebrow raise as the declaration is made.

Taking all the energy into his body and redirecting it to his hands he conjures a spear of fire he throws this at the dummy.

What happens next even Leo didn't expect he misses entirely and hits the wall of the building the spear is drilling into the wall but then is absorbed by it.

"Ha ha i guess everyone has there moments, Lizzie was saying your magic control was almost godly but i see you just practice, is this the first time actually throwing it your self?"

Leo also laughing

"Yeah i've always used the magic to thrust it forward but i wanted to throw it this time."

"Well practice makes perfect you will need to both anyway and you will need to be able to move around whilst doing so."

"Ok i will just use magic to throw it this time."

Leo doing the same as before but use the magic to thrust it at the dummy, the spear hit perfectly in the center of the chest of the dummy, it looks as though its going to go straight through it but as it gets about three inches inside, it changes shape into a condensed ball of fire, then with a CRACK the dummy disappears.

Leon's eye brows raise he turns his head toward Leo with a smile.

"Well you definitely have some power in there."

Leo smiles

"Let's try it again but this time make a small hole but don't go all the way through."

Leo this time conjures a ball of ice and fires it toward the dummy, as it hits the ice sticks like a snowball, it then freezes the part of the dummy it hit, it then breaks away falling to the floor and smashing.

"Well done now do it with fire."

Leo puzzled by this does the same, but as the ball of fire hits it makes a big explosion and blows away one side of the dummy.

"Ok we have something to work on, you need to fine tune your output at long range also you need to be able to do this with all the magic you can control at the moment."

"I would say your output is at 80000 at the moment but i think you will definitely go higher, your control is at a basic fighter level, your long range control is like as expected."

Leon pauses then continues

"I will organize for Brad to be here tomorrow so we can show you how you fight using magic."

Leo now having something to work on decides to train whilst Leon is observing his every move.

Over the day Leo slowly learns to better control the magic at long range using the memories he as he also practices varied types magic.

Leon is constantly giving him tips and pointers which are helping massively, like at long range he can control the energy output by feeling for the energy flow that is connected from him and the magic he has used.

It was very convenient that Leon was here because he had prepared meals for the day with seasoning so Leo could fully concentrate on learning.

It got late in the day.

"So you have done what i didn't expect you to do, you learn fast."

What Leon didn't know was that Leo had developed the skill of learning and listening to one instructions back on earth, he knew that this would make him good at anything with enough practice, the good thing about this planet is that the days, were three times longer than normal, it made learning so much easier.

"I think i will call it a day its about to get real busy back in the pub, i've left another meal here for you, oh this ain't free you owe me 150ruze."

Leo burst into laughter "Well i didn't expect anything less from a pub owner."

With a cheeky face Leon walking away waves "it's on your tab."

It had been a good day getting to know Leon, besides giving him tips and laughing when something failed miserably, he often talked about how he loved to explore for new food sources before coming here.

He found out that he had decided to stay in this area as there was a lot to explore and some that had never been explored.

The more he heard people talk about the Helm the more it was clouded in mystery, there had been many incursions into the area, with no one ever returning and every 30 years or so there would be a huge army come from there trying to invade.

He couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about it all though.

Left by him self now he decide to try having a go at spatial magic, even though it was dangerous the benefits far out weighed the danger.

He took a glass and placed it in the middle of the training area, walking away from it and sitting down on the floor.

{So Yuna how are we going to teleport the glass from where it is now to the table here?}

{Well firstly i will need to map the data then we can try to send it}

{Ok how long will it take to map the data.}

{Done}

{So know i need to just visualize it moving from one place to the next.}

{Not exactly you need to imagine it as always being there.}

He first makes energy well up inside him as a catalyst.

{You don't need to do that just visualize it}

Interrupted he loses concentration and the energy dissipates.

{Why?}

{Because in theory it is already there you just need to verify it and make it move}

{Still a little confused.}

{So all Matter of a similar energy source is every where it also occupies the same space and time.}

{Ok i think i get you.}

This time just staring at the glass he imagines it on the table next him, he starts to see a vortex of some kind appear just like his memory then the glass gets sucked into it.

{I've lost all connection with the glass where did you send it.}

{I was thinking about the memory of the Criton teleporting to help me.}

{That's where you went wrong, that's teleported to where ever the Criton went.}

Meanwhile four creatures coated in armor guarding a large domed room, here a crack and then a smash.

"Huh what was that?"

They turn round to look into the space to see a glass smashed on the floor.

One of the soldiers putting his hand on his head.

In a stern tone. "Lord there has been a incident in the harvesting room."

The next moment a man appears with flaming horns next to the soldier, he looks into the room and a deep frown appears on his face which then turns into rage.

The soldier at the side of him disappears into darkness, he turns toward another soldier.

"Tell me what happened."

The soldier is starts to shiver with fear stuttering.

"We we were guarding guarding the room, when when we heard the smash."

Looking into the mans face with absolute terror on his face.

"I can see that, where from?" his voice deep and strong resonating in the soldiers ears

"Err" turning to the room he tries to anaylze the room

"There's no source."

"WHAT!!! don't be incompetent."

The man turns to the room realizing the same he face becoming enraged again.

"FOOLS!!"

All the soldiers then disappear into the floor.

"Tell four more soldiers to come and guard the harvest room and not to make any stupid mistake's the other four made."

A female voice replies in a very seductive tone " Yes my lord, anything for you."

Back in the training room Leo has created another glass at the same point, trying like before the same thing happens.

Just as the man turns away from the room after clearing the room by vaporizing the glass, he hears a crack and smash.

Turning back to the room he see's another glass smashed on the floor trying to analyze it again reading nothing he's horns flames turn from red to a deep blue then white.

"Cimeries are you certain of the measurement of the man?"

"Certainly my, lord."

The man calming down his horns go back to red fire.

"Who is it then, especially with no signature."

{Leo you need to think about the image of the cup being on the table and nothing else.}

Leo re-creates the glass again.

{I've got this.}

Leo takes a deep breath closes his eyes and removes all thought from his mind, he then visualizing the glass being on the table.

At this precise moment Brad walked into the room.

The glass was absorbed into the vortex with the vortex reappearing at the table and the glass forming on it.

Opening his eye's smiling at the glass

{Congratulations i can now automate this process to anything.}

{Awesome why did it take me to do it, for you to?}

{I couldn't work out how but you have shown me a formula when you achieved it.}

{Ok interesting so can you cast magic at the same time as me like i'm two people.}
