On the other side where the bookcases were moved away and few grandly dressed people were waiting for the window to get open.
What those people saw, was a cute little girl with a surprised expression looking at them while two people stood right behind her and friendly greeted them. They saw foreigners before, bit never expected this.
Wang Weiming came forward and looked at Li Na with a sigh. "Sorry, I had to tell them."
Li Na nodded. "And I told my parents. This is my father and mother."
Wang Weiming pointed at his family as he politely bowed towards her parents. "This is my family."
Li Na chuckled as she saw excited expressions on both sides. "I can't hold this window open for a long time. That potion last time saved mother's life. As we don't know what it is worth, we prepared some gifts for you."
She passed multiple boxes towards him and at the end, she held a huge box in her hands and nibbled on her lips.
Li Jiang came forward and smiled at them. "She made multiple cookies only for the young master. She was not sure what kind of tastes he likes so she made so many."
She picked up the box and passed it through the window. The young man looked at the box and with a huge smile, he said. "Thank you."
His family froze as they never saw him have such an expression before. Does their son know how to smile happily like this?
But his grandfather came closer and coughed. "This time share some with me."
Li Na heard his words and blinked at him curiously. "Uhm, did you like the cookies from last time?"
He coughed and his ears became a bit red as he admitted. "Yes. They were not too sweet so I could handle them."
Li Jiang was curious. "Chocolate cookies?"
Li Na nodded happily. "Yes. I used natural ingredients and dark bitter chocolate. Mom, do we have some left in the kitchen?"
Li Jiang nodded. "Of course. Your father loves those as well." She quickly stood up and left, leaving the bunch of women speechlessly stare at the old general.
"Seriously?" Lee Meili stared at her husband.
"What? It's not like we can buy it here. I just want to taste it again. I have been craving for it for the whole month." He just took a chance to ask for it.
His son rubbed his temples as he saw his father acting thick faced. For goodness sake, he is a general. Why does he act like a spoiled child?
Li Na had to chuckle a little. The three women looked at each other with a big smile. This small girl has all of them already hooked on her. Too bad she is in the other world. They already knew about the portal ability.
Not even in their world, many had it. She must train her ability and not only that. They made a decision and pushed the old man on the side and stepped in front of the shiny window.
"Child, what is your name?" She needed her name first, to know how to address her.
"My name is Coleman Li Na. My father is Luke Coleman and my mother is Li Jiang. I would like to thank you all officially." Li Na's cute voice made everyone smile brightly.
Just as he wanted to introduce his family Li Jiang came back with a big box filled with cookies. With a big smile, she passed the box towards the man with a huge smile.
"Our daughter made these with her own two hands, as she wanted to show her sincerity. Trough her words I found out that your family saved me giving the precious potion. Thank you so much. Is there anything we could help you with?"
Luke Coleman was curious as well. "Yes, tell us is there anything we could help you with?"
The old man suddenly stilled as he held the cookies and rose his eyes towards them. "Our world is filled with wars. My grandson is soon leaving home to go to the war with me. Is there anything you could think off to protect him?"
Luke Coleman suddenly got an idea. "There is. But I can give you that next time. It's a full body protection suit. Can you paint your armours? I can make an armour that would be amazing protection."
What a stroke of luck. His company was special. They have contracts with the army, police, firefighters and special helpers to make special suits to protect them.
The technology got better by day, so suits he makes could protect them even at their wars.
"I will need your size, your grandson's size and will bring you the protection suits next full moon. Please hurry up. Li Na is just a baby, she can't hold this window open for too long." He was worried about her health.
In their excitement, they forgot about that and stilled. Wang Weiming came to the window, saw Li Na's pale face and furrowed his eyebrows. "Next time I'll send you a few books about your powers, some potions to replenish your health and few more things."
Looking at his careful bearing around this girl, the two women in the back smiled at each other. To them, this was a tiny bit of hope. But they can't rush their things. The child is still way too little.
While they spoke Wang Weizhe came forward and passed the paintings of their armours. Wang Weiming inherited from him the ability to paint well and while they were talking he painted suits quickly.
"Our family had no time to introduce ourselves. I'm Wang Weizhe, you met my son Wang Weiming and my father General Wang Weisheng. This is my wife Song Luli and my mother, Lee Meili"
Li Na was speechless but calmed down fast. Well, what normal family has so many books anyway?
Looking at the child's calm expression everyone in the Wang family became astonished. An amazing child indeed.
As the window slowly started disappearing she smiled at Wang Weiming one more time and he waved at her as well with a smile.
Speechlessly they saw him picking up his box and just leaving...
