Chapter 342: Sympathy

Elize sat up straight, frustrated by the thoughts in her head. After a quick run till the stream and back to vent her anger, she had come back to the pack house, refreshed. Hoping to talk to him, she had gone to their room which looked untouched except for a pile of dirty clothes outside the bathroom. 

It was so unlikely of Zack to leave his clothes like that. From the looks of it, he had changed quickly and gone out, despite his claim that he was tired. When she had passed by the room next door, it had seemed to be empty as well. 

Elize had then picked the clothes up and gone downstairs to the laundry room. It was there that she had met aunt Brooke- one of the older pack members. When asked about the alpha's whereabouts, the old woman had sighed and muttered something about the younger boys going for a hunt with the foreigners.
