Chapter 343: You two should talk

Irina set her fork down, raising her head from the food to look at her. 

"Now that Zack is back, can't you move back to the mansion? At least till we figure out the spells." The witch pleaded, "The witches need you, Elize. I'm sure the alpha can manage it here."

"Hmm," Elize said, pushing her fork into the meat on her plate. 

Though she heard what the witch said, she wasn't listening. Her mind was elsewhere. She had spent an entire night without a blink of sleep, lost in the endless trail of thoughts about her mate who hadn't come back even for a second to the pack house since yesterday. He had told her that he was tired. Then why was he out in the forest with their guests? She wondered.
