Chapter 402: You found us!

She gasped for air as she staggered around in the darkness. She wanted to scream, but had no voice. What was happening? Where am I? She wondered, tears streaming down her eyes. She was all alone and blind. She couldn't even feel her heartbeat. The silence was getting overwhelming by the minute. Suddenly, she heard a thud from somewhere ahead. 

It sounded again until it started beating in a stable rhythm. It was a faint sound of a heart beating. She followed the sound desperately, rushing towards it in hopes of respite. The sound grew louder with every step that she took until it started to hurt her ears. All of a sudden, she hit a wall and fell back.
