Date Night (1)

ALANA

The tray wobbled in my hands and I was starting to not even feel my legs as they came into my view. They sat on the roof in a secluded, what I assumed was a private area. As far as the view was concerned it was enough to knock the breath out of anyone. The jade-cerulean sea extended to beyond the vision could go and the sun seemed to mostly have come down, leaving behind a hue of purplish-pink sky.

The wind was pitilessly swaying everything it touched and at that very moment, I was glad for the tucking of scarf policy because otherwise I would've lost my sight and probably have embarrassed myself by tripping.

Knight was dressed in his usual attire, as for the girl . . . Every step that brought me closer to them made my heart clench tighter. She was so pretty. With a figure so perfect and dressed in a resplendent midnight gown that matched with Knight's suit. Her neckline was low and there was so much of her chest area exposed. I'd never even dreamt of wearing something like that. With glossy blonde hair and blue eyes that kept checking out my Knight, I was seriously having trouble breathing.

They weren't exactly huddled together but it was my first time seeing him with a girl, so this confusing irritating feeling in my chest wasn't welcome. I stopped short by their table, keeping my eyes lowered to the tray as I placed Turkish coffee in front of them. The cups were small and the colour of the coffee dark, tasting just as tangy as it looked. On a good day, I'd rate the coffee a solid five out of ten. It just didn't match my taste buds.

And when I'd known Knight, he didn't like it either. I guess many things had changed.

"Teşekkür Ederim," He wrapped his long, sleek fingers around the tiny cup, murmuring warm words of thanks.

I only inclined my head, "Enjoy,"
