The Guys were Back

ALANA

Tired and emotionally drained, I went to my apartment. After using my keys, I was inside but the sight before me wasn't one I had in mind. EW!

Swiftly turning, I covered my face with my bag, continuously banging my head against it. It was of no use; the image was implanted in my head now. The guys from yesterday were back. And they were involved in some serious business.

I murmured apologies to God. Maybe I should've knocked?

"Oh, Alana," Even something was off about Clare's voice; the breathy way she spoke. "Come in, it's fine."

Fine? Nothing was fine about this situation. I was about to hurl all the chocolate I'd consumed. Oh Lord, indeed I was experiencing many firsts. I thumped my head against the bag again.

"Can I just—" My voice broke. Oh no, I was about to cry. Oh no no no. "Can you please give me my stuff? My n-night suit? Actually," I shook my head, what was I even asking for? What would I do with a night suit outside the apartment? "Never mind. I'm leaving."

My hand was on the door handle when I was turned by my elbow. I was staring into blue eyes. There was nothing special inside them like there was in Knight's.

"Hey, babe," he said, a smirk hanging off of those untrusting lips. "Let them have their fun and we can have ours." He nodded into the direction of Clare and his friend. Where was Aylin?

As if on cue, she walked out of the bathroom, mascara smeared and face flushed. A guy casually walked out from behind her. These three stupid men were the same ones as yesterday! Sure, they weren't ugly but I didn't have a good feeling about them.

"Don't touch me," I tried my best to sound stern and thankfully I sounded pretty badass. Inside, I was trembling. Now, I wasn't some super innocent little baby but what I'd seen today—let's just say, I'd never seen it before. Or heard of it. Or read it. Oh, Lord. Please, no.

My eyes burned and I felt tears prickling the backs of my eyelids.

The guy in front of me held up his hands, grinning and walking backwards. I felt only disgust towards him, though most women may have felt attracted.

Thank God, the background had cleared and everyone kept their hands to themselves.

"They're staying over tonight," Clare intoned. "I hope you don't mind?"

I was so wrong about her. She wasn't nice at all. "I'm going to complain to the manager, Clare. This is a no-boy zone. They are not staying here."

All she did was huff, turn the lights off and snuggle up with her partner, leaving me standing with my mouth agape.
