Chapter 6: Tokyo Blues

Tokyo.

The chilly October breeze welcomes them as they drive around the city. They marvel at the autumn foliage adorning the busy avenues and picturesque parks along the way.

"Grrrrrrr! It's damn cold here!" Jason exclaims as he rubs his hands. They chuckle at his innocent reaction.

"Hmmm... it's 15 degrees Celsius now!" Mon says, seemingly unaffected by the temperature.

"Autumn is one of the preferred seasons to visit Japan because of its weather and of course the marvelous landscapes accentuated by the foliage in multiplex colors," Ben explains. Jason nods in awe.

"You seem to have traveled here a lot!" Jason comments. "Who are we meeting here exactly?" he adds as they enter a mega- tower at the heart of the city.

"The royalties of Japan!" Mon replies.

"Are we meeting the emperor?!" Jason asks in a surprised tone.

"Ahm... close!"

They all know that Jason hates surprises, they tease him as they ride the elevator. Jay presses the 60th. They chuckle as Jason puts on his earphone and listens to music.

"We are here!" Leo exclaims when the door opens and a palatial home welcomes them. Jason furrows his forehead when he recognizes the tall fashionista, smiling at them.

"Belle!" Jay says before giving her a hug.

"Hi, Harry. Hi, my lords and your highness!" she greets as she gives everyone a cheek kiss.

"We should call you Lady Arabelle Diana!" Leo teases, bowing at her.

"Shut up!" she says, horrified by his words.

"Anyway, where are your brothers?" Ron asks as they go inside a magnificent living room. Everything they see shows regality and splendor.

"Brother, they're here!"

"Spencers! Finally~ welcome to our humble home!" a man in his thirties exclaims as he runs down the stairs. His wavy shoulder-length hair freely bounces as he runs down. His five o'clock shadows accented his chiseled jaw.

"Lord Troy, damn! You look like you've aged."

"Is conserving the Japanese National Heritages making you stressed?"

"You still look handsome though!"

The lords say when he touches down. He brushes his hair with his hand as he chuckles at their comments. Then, he turns to Jason and removes his reading glasses showing his deep-set chestnut brown eyes.

"So, you are the infamous Dark Prince of the Spencers?"

"Uhm... I don't know what you're talking about, but the name's Jason."

"Pleasure to meet you, Jason. I may say, you've got the looks and charm--- undeniably Spencer," Troy comments as they shake hands.

"You must be preparing for your grand introduction during the annual FabFour Foundation Gala," Troy says.

Jason, who is so shocked, looks at his nephews, pretending not to know what's going on.

"No one cared to tell me about it!" he says sarcastically.

"I see."

Belle returns from the kitchen and politely excuses herself for interrupting their conversation.

"The food awaits. Let's go before it cools down!"

"Leave your things here first. You can bring them to your rooms after eating," Troy says. Then, they all go to the dining area.

"Well, that's how a generous host should welcome his guests!" Leo teases.

"Thanks, my sister tried her best to help at the kitchen!" Troy says while gesturing them to sit.

"Oh! I hope we live after our meal!" Jay exclaims. They all laugh when Belle takes the platter of crawfish Jay is staring at.

"Everyone can eat it, but you!" she warns. Jay sulks.

"Is that how you treat a friend?!" Jay asks.

"Wow! Now, you're telling me that? After giving your 'considerate' comment?" she yells.

"I was just joking!"

"Well, I am not!"

Belle storms off. They all look at her.

"What's with her?" Jay says, asking everyone.

Troy looks at him and smiles. Then, he says, "She didn't sleep preparing these dishes when you called last night! She really gave her best to cook the best for all of you!"

"Whoa! But... these are delicious! No kidding!" Ben comments while filling his mouth with prawn tempuras. The others agree.

"I never thought, she's good at cooking! We should be thankful for her thoughtfulness," Jason comments while savoring the crawfish, which makes Jay puts down the noodle that he's about to eat.

When he picks another bite, Ron says, "If my best friend prepares something for me, I should be grateful!"

"Wow! This mochi is the best! It's a hearty dish! A dish full of love!" Ron adds as soon as Jay is about to drink his macha. Troy is trying his best not to laugh out loud, even holding his stomach.

Jay slams the table and glowers at them. Then, he harshly stands up.

"Fine! I will go and apologize! Satisfied?!" he snarls as he goes to Belle's room.

Jason and the lords grin triumphantly while Troy lets out a burst of loud laughter that he's been trying so hard to suppress.

"What did I miss?!" a handsome young man appears in the dining area. His long blue pixie boy cut with his fringe slightly covering his sharp eyes.

"Well... the brat is home!" Troy exclaims at the sight of his younger brother, cheerfully approaching them.

"Damn--- you look like an anime character!" Ron comments. Mon agrees while praising his cool outfit.

"I won't be surprised to see you bald next time we meet! You often change your hair color!" Ben, never a fan of his dyed hair, says.

He looks around and fixes his gaze at Jason, quietly finishing his food.

"Oh! He's--- is he~ Jason" obviously surprised, he whispers while covering his mouth and pointing at him.

"Yep! He's who you think he is!" Leo replies.

"Wow! Belle is really lousy at describing people!" he exclaims as he admires his handsomeness.

"Who is this talkative cartoon character?!" Jason asks, making everyone laugh.

"Sorry... my name's Kazuki!"
