47. Can I Do This?

"Tell me, son, how did you tame my pet?" Dalton asked about the Drankon Lance had following him. It wasn't supposed to be possible for a tamer to control another tamers creature. A monster usually imprints on the tamer and becomes loyal only to them, but somehow, Lance was about to take control of Dalton's Drankon

Lance was still conflicted about killing him. He knew, deep down, Dalton had answers, and maybe possible skills that can help him. But Lance wasn't sure if the lives of the others were worth just a minor gain of power. "I don't think it matters". Lance gripped his sword tighter as he answered Dalton's question and started to pull the blade across Dalton's neck. But before he could cut his head off, Dalton disappeared.

"Why do you think I was so hard to capture son?" Dalton stood behind Lance now, "You're gonna have to do a lot better than that if you want to kill me." He started laughing to himself, finding all this very amusing.

Just then, the system chimed in.
