"Congrats for passing the midterms, Tanaka!" commended Miyuki.

Ah~ Here's another one. I....I sure deserve it, huh.

"Are you free later? Let's go on a date again!" insisted Miyuki.

"Again?!" asked Riko.

"Yes! We went on a date sometime ago in an art museum!" answered Miyuki.

She's really active today. I wonder what's up? Maybe she's just naturally happy for me?

As I am talking with them right now, my fingers touched something under my desk. It looks like a paper.

Appease, myself! This should be another prank of Suzuki against me. Better not fall for it.

Ah, the butterflies in my stomach are starting to multiply.

The door is right in front of me, and the girl who wrote this must be waiting behind it.

"H....Hello." I greeted as I move closer towards her.

"Well then guys, I have to go for now~"

"Where are you going, Tanaka?" asked Suzuki.

"J....Just going to hand something in the faculty....."

"Is this Class 2-B?" asked.... FUJISAKI?!

Hey, hey. Did she come all the way just to look for me? Though their classroom is just beside ours.

"Yes, do you need something Akari-san? Huh?" asked Riko.

There are two more people that entered our room alongside Fujisaki-san. Who are they?

"Good afternoon and I apologize for our sudden intrusion." said Fujisaki. "We are members from the student council and we are here to inform you that we need four nominees for each block to run for the position of Vice President and Secretary."

"We should have introduced ourselves first, Akari-san." said the man beside Akari.

"Oh yes, I forgot. I am Fujisaki Akari as you all know, and I am the current Vice President of the current council administration." introduced Fujisaki.

V....Vice President?! I....It took me 26 chapters to find out that there is a student council here?! How unaware am I?! ༼⁰o⁰;༽

"The one on my right is Fukuya Eita, our treasurer. The one on my left is Sakaki Sachiko, our gorgeous auditor." added Fujisaki.

A.... sudden nomination?! I think the perfect people for this post are Riko and Suzuki. Though knowing Suzuki, she might not be interested at all.

"So, I am opening now the nomination for the Vice President, I need one nominee which will afterward choose his/her running mate for Secretary." said Fujisaki.

"Fujisaki-san! I nominate Suzuki Kotori!" responded Miyuki.

R.... Right of the bat?!

"Sorry Miyuki, but I am not interested for that position." answered Suzuki.

"C'mon, don't be like that. I am aware on how smart you are and I strongly believe you can apply different strategies that will surely improve our experience in school!" believed Miyuki.

She's extremely observant of her! She got it right!

"I guess it's time, huh?" said Suzuki.

What does she mean?

"Fine, I accept the nomination." affirmed Suzuki. "Yet for my slot to be valid, I need to nominate someone for the secretary position, right?"

"Yes that is right, Kotori-san." answered Fujisaki.

Hmm? Did Fujisaki-san just call Suzuki by her first name?

M...More importantly..... SUZUKI IS LOOKING AT ME!

Oh know, I can fairly read what she's thinking. I don't want to be nominated!!! (ʘᗩʘ')

"Alongside me, I nominate...." said Suzuki.

"...Miyuki for the secretary position." continued Suzuki.

"H....Hey, w....why did you nominate m...me?" asked Miyuki.

"Hmm nothing in particular. I think that if we both win, we can effectively govern the school together. Isn't that sweet?" responded Suzuki.

"Y....You're right." answered Miyuki.

"It's settled, then. The campaign period will start three days from now. Get ready to print your fliers or formulate necessary strategies for your campaign." explained Fujisaki-san.

F.... Fujisaki-san is quite different from what she was yesterday. I guess she's being professional right now.

"Moreover, nominees are not allowed to seek help from other current student council members unless it is extremely important. The President and I will be the one who shall entertain your future inquiries." added Fujisaki-san.

Maybe preventing possible biases, huh?

"Oh, since the Secretary position has been not vacated for a week already because the last one resigned, we have assigned someone from here to be the Secretary of the Student Council until the new administration has been set." adjoined Fujisaki-san.

Now I have nothing to worry about, that person must be Riko. She's got a good reputation for her leadership skills. (＾3＾♪

"We have assigned Kusakabe Tanaka to be part of the current student council, for the time being." revealed Fujisaki-san.

Are there ghosts around that just mentioned my name?

"Huh? (・o・)" reacted Suzuki.

" (●__●) " reacted everyone in the class.

"W.....WHAT.....?!"

"Kusakabe, your name is written here so...." said Fujisaki while she exposes the paper she's holding.

"I just can't agree to that....! Huh?"

"No, you shall abide with the decision of the higher committee, Kusakabe-kun." said by someone from outside the room. "I recommended you after all so it hurts my feeling that you don't want to be part of us."

That "someone" enters the room and that person is.....

"Y.....You are.....!" reacted Suzuki.

"President, you should introduce yourself first." said Fujisaki.

"My bad, Akari. Well, this is the time for revelation since I always shadowed myself in the bulletin board." he stated. "I am the current Student Council President, Samurai Tomohiro. Nice to meet you, everyone."

I never thought that Sakurai-senpai is the President of the Student Council. T...This is.....!

"Sorry Kusakabe-kun, but starting tomorrow..... you'll be working with us. Got it?" asked Sakurai-senpai with a matching stare and smile.
