Chapter 91: Rest In Peace

~ Third Person's Point of View ~

Woods and dried grasses were eaten by the hungry hefty fire. It was a tradition during a burial ceremony. Burning the dead corpse of someone who becomes part of thyself will never be easy.

The fire hungrily glistened the corpse that made it more fiery and fervent. As if it had never devoured anything.

Hatius was holding a bunch of flowers. He was weak yet insisted to see him becoming into ashes. He's been a good companion, a good friend and a trustworthy man.

However, as part of living, dying will be the finish line of all living organisms, such as human beings.

His eyes were protruded due to whimpering. He can't still believe that he's gone. That he wasn't there to save him when he's in danger.

"How can be a brother come to be worthless as what I've become? I... I wasn't there when he needed me! I, I was lifeless."
