Alice was lying into the mattress. She was sleeping peacefully since she passed out earlier. 

Perhaps, it is because of the hot weather that leads her to slumped and the two guards were occupied by preparing foods for her majesty. He volunteered himself to detract his attention into something that would help him to forget Phoax. 

But the most painful part of Phoax's death when he saw him lying on the ground. Bleeding, wounded and being stabbed by Cartlon who saw him first. 

If only he was willful. If only Morgan didn't try to end his life. If only he did not help Princess Alice, probably things would be different. 

Though, he can't let Morgan bring enormous havoc to the Princess Alice's kingdom as it was had fallen because of the undead.
