After time.

Dinner was Awsome! We walked down and had a seat. We got our food and I got a steak with French fries and a piece of cherry pie. I looked like a pig while eating compared to Clair, She got some type of white noodle sauce. It was more than what my mom cooked for me and my brother, we just sometimes had couch dinners on Friday nights and quick little meals on other days like chicken pot-pie or macaroni and cheese. I think I may be liking this place but I miss my family. "What's on the schedule after lunch?" I ask Clair. "Well after dinner you can go to play in the gym and make new friends.'' She then says, How about the pool?'' I say. ''Well, its getting cleaned right now from an accident.'' She says. We get up from the table and dump our plates into the trash. As I make it to the door Clair stops me.''These kids are not normal,'' she says.''They may look the same or look different but some of them act completely different, Oh ok'' I say. She then leads me to the gym.

It took a little longer to get to the gym since its downstairs and across the building. But we made it, Finally. Then we open the large and heavy wooden doors and the first thing I walk into is.. kids. Young ones, old ones, and the workers. This place was huge. I spotted a track and basketball hoops on each side of the room. The walls looked yellow and of course, the ground was wood. But for some reason, there was fake grass around the floor. I looked up and saw a giant projector and lights with the same white ceiling. ''Go on'' Clair says, go look around and make new friends.'' I then walk along the fake grass to the pool on the other side. I walk trying not to run into anyone on wheelchairs. The pool was empty, and dirty on the bottom. As the smell catches up I gag and walk far away from the pool. I see two normal-looking kids talking and then I walk a little closer. But it seems they talk a language that I've never heard before. So I start turning around and I accidentally run into someone.

''Are you all alright''? It sounded like an Irish accent. I turn around and say ''Yes, are you? Sorry, I ran into- I look at him and gasp a little too loudly. The whole side of his face looked like it was from a doner and I could still see the stitching.''Are you ok? What happened?''. He looks a little hurt for a moment and says,'' the bomb, and why are you here?'' I laugh a little and reply,'' Same reason as you, but it got me on my arm,'' He looked really cute on the other side of his face. He looks at my arm and asks,'' May I see it?'' I then take off my jacket and then my bandage. ''I've never seen a look like that before, my face looked like it was melting before I got that part removed,'' I put my stuff back on and say,'' By the way my name is Maddix,'' Oh! sorry about that,'' He says, My name is Emer.'' The Woman on the speaker then says,'' Playtime is over! go to your rooms and get ready for bed. ''Well,'' I say, ''I'll see you tomorrow,'' He then waves as he walks away.

I and Clair go back up to my room for bed. we enter as I see Kali already asleep. ''Well I'm going to go back downstairs too help the others, I won't be around helping you find your rooms tomorrow unless you need help and the announcements will tell you we're do go after each place, "Clair says. "Ok," I say. I she then leaves and I plug-in my phone and get some P.js out as she leaves the room. I enter the bathroom and brush my hair and teeth, then change. I climb into the top bunk and start thinking when I can go back home. While crying to myself I fall asleep.
