Emer

I wake up too the sound of bells ringing around the room I'm staying in. Then I hear the voice of the lady announce," All rooms may start getting ready for the day, come down to the cafeteria for your breakfast." I climb down from the top bunk and check for Kali but she's not there. So I think she may have gotten a head start downstairs. I brush my teeth and of course, they gave me crest and hate mint. I then brush my hair and find some clothes in my drawer, so I choose a green checker shirt and black plants from a couple of options. After fifteen minutes of getting ready, I head to the cafeteria for breakfast. As I walk down many kids pass me and I hardy reconize them, even after going to the gym. I started then looking for Emer but I couldn't find him anywhere. It was strange. Maybe he's still getting ready?

I make it to the cafeteria and the smell of bacon upsides to my nose. It smelt good but a little too good, like it was a nice final choice of bacon and cinnamon rolls. I saw maids and workers cleaning the tables and setting up one after another. There were only five kids sitting down at the tables but there were more getting their food. I stop looking around and get my trey, as I pick bacon and eggs with orange juice. While choosing a table a girl sits at the same place. She was cute with her short brown hair and greenish blue eyes but she doesn't look like the girl you would want to hang out with. "Hey," The girl says, then I give her a nod. I start eating then stop.,"Are you new? Do you have any friends? Why are you here?" words started bursting out of her mouth. She didn't look like a talker but she was. "First of all," I started to state. "My name is Maddix and who are you?" She looks at me and says, "Talk about newbies, you seem like the kind of uptight girl. Oh and I'm Marcy." I then shove some eggs in my mouth and say," I came here because of my arm as you can see, you? I then start taking off my bandages. "No need, I lost my ear and an eye so I can relate to the look.

I finish my breakfast and ask one more quick thing," Hey have you seen a dude named Emer? The person with only one side of his face?" She stares at me for a minute and finally answers," Yea! I saw him heading towards the clinic while coming down here," Why would he go down there? I thought to myself, ''Thank you! I'm finished so I'm going to go dump my trash and head upstairs," I reply, Then She gives me a thumbs-up as I head to the trash. I keep asking myself why he would need to go to the nurse's office for this long. Taking medicine only takes a minute or two, right?
