The Ignored

I wake up around six thirty to find my phone setting off a high pitch alarm. I jump back as I quickly try to turn my phone off so I don't wake up Kali. "Shoot", I whisper to myself as I hop off the bottom part of the bed. The marble floor was cold and wet, it reminded me of walking in morning grass. When Heading out of the room a large shock hits me with a thud. I then appear to be in my mothers room with the smell of maple coming from her wax burner, mixed with metallic. The metallic smell smelled like when I fell off of my bike, so like blood. I didn't pay much attention to it. I see something or someone in my mothers bed so without thinking I start walking to it. As I head closer to the bed the smell of blood gets stronger. A stuttering noise then busts out of nowhere. The noise gets louder and louder when getting closer to the bed. Suddenly Im close enough to pull the blanket off from where the smell was coming from. So I do so.

I then wake up with the sudden urge to throw up. What I saw was the unspeakable. It wasn't very kid friendly. But as I noticed, I'm actually in my room. The welcome home-themed room in a suspicious building. I wasn't sure what caused the dream. That was suspiciously life like. Could it have been the shot? But I don't feel any symptoms. Except the puking sensation. Surprisingly it went away after awhile. After heading off the bed I decide to go to the bathroom to get a head start for the morning. When finishing up to go out and maybe walk around I look around and see if kali was still asleep. But she wasn't even there. Maybe she had another surgery? Or had to leave early? While thinking to myself I start heading to the gym with a gut full of butterflies.

Finally. I reach the door, it seemed like it took forever to get too the gym. "Swish," "Huh?" I just got frightened a bit but didn't see anyone or anything. But when turning around there was still nothing in sight. So I just ignored it and walked into the gym. The gym was dark and quiet. It seemed like no one has came here yet to turn the lights on. So i just continued and headed deeper inside of the dark abyss. I could tell, there were still basketballs and hoops on the ground from the outer shape. It felt like the gym was abandoned after a random appearance. I was thinking on just turning around and going back to the room to play on my phone. But it would be boring. I see the light switch on the righthand wall so I flick it on. Lights appear in the room as more items appear more visible. The tick of each light sounded like a echoing clock in a closed closet.

Once again I've never seen the gym this empty so it was surprising. When walking towards a basketball laying on the ground, you could tell how quiet the room was with the echoing of each of my footsteps. I grab the basketball and aim it for the hoop but miss, I do it a couple of times until the door of the entrance creeped open. "Hello?" While turning around I see a small- maybe 12-13 aged girl walking my way. "Hi," She says. She then walks closer and closer as I see her appearance more clearly. Blond hair, with greenish bluish eyes. She was wearing the same uniform as the rest of us, but she was clearly young with her clothes being baggy and her voice. "So you come here early also?" She says with a wondrous expression. "I think so, this is my fist time. But its surprisingly empty." I Shoot another hoop "your not supposed to be here this early, there's a certain schedule." What? A schedule, what could she be talking about? "Never head of it, is it important?" I say, She then gives me a death glare. "The timing is for the ones who have become forgotten by others." Huh?
