The Throne Room

The boy and the girl, his Mother's First Guardian, stopped walking. They both stood before two massive silver doors.

The boy looked at the two massive silver doors with a confused expression and then looked over at the girl. He said while confused. "Isn't this Father's Throne Room? Why are we here? I thought you were taking me to see Sister?"

The girl clenched her left hand and put it against the center of her chest. She said to the boy as she looked at the two massive silver doors. "My lady is inside, my lord."

The boy thought. "She's inside?" He looked at the two massive silver doors and thought. "Why is Sister in the Throne Room? Hasn't Father already left the castle?" He looked back at the girl again.

The girl kept her clenched left hand on the center of her chest as she stared at the two massive silver doors and said. "Would you like me to open the doors, my lord?"

The boy thought. "Open the doors?" He looked at the right side and then the left side of the two massive silver doors as he thought. "Aren't there usually two guards placed in front of these doors?" He looked back at the hallway he had just come from and said. "Come to think of it. I didn't see a single guard in the hallways. Where is everybody? Why does the castle feel emptier than usual?"

The girl said again. "Would you like me to open the doors, my lord?"

The boy looked back at the woman who was now staring at him. He suddenly looked at the two massive silver doors and then looked back at the girl. He nodded.

The girl walked toward the two massive silver doors as the boy walked closely behind her.

The girl stood directly in front of the center of the two massive silver doors. She put her left hand on the right side of the left door and she put her right hand on the left side of the right door. She then began to push the two massive silver doors open.

The ground shook as the two massive silver doors began to open. Vibrations from the two doors could be felt through the ground.

The boy looked through the opening between the two doors. At first he could only see a small section of gray floor but as the two doors opened up wider he could soon see the gray floor expand and double its size.

The doors stopped moving. The boy stared at the entirety of the room and thought with surprise. "Sister?!"

The room had six silver statues in total within the room. Three silver statues were on the left side and three were on the right side. All six statues had a figure who wore a silver mask and silver armor. All six statues had the same pose. All six statues possessed a sword which was stabbed into the ground. All six statues had their left hand on the blade of their sword. All six statues lacked a right arm.

Above the six silver statues were six flags which all had the same emblem and color. All six flags possessed a dark red background. In the center of the flag was a silver mask. Around the edge of the flag was a gold trim.

In the center of the room was a very tall window which stretched about three fourths of the way down the wall. The top of the window possessed two columns but as the window descended downwards, toward the floor, the number of columns increased. The number of columns increased from two to four and then finally stopped at six.

Directly beneath the window was six figures. One figure was in the center while two figures were to the center figure's left and three figures were to the center figure's right.

The two figures to the left were both men who wore dark red armor which had a silver trim around the edge. Both of the two men had a sword strapped to their back with the hilt on their left side. Both of the men were in a column. One of the men was closer to the central figure while the other was closer to the boy and the girl.

The man closest to the boy and the girl looked like he was in his mid to late teens. He had light green hair. He possessed a slightly shorter stature than the man who stood next to him. He had a very neutral looking expression on his face. On his left arm were two crossed blades which had been engraved into his armor. On the left side of the two crossed blades was a mask. By the bottom left of the mask were three crossed blades. Two were diagonal and one was vertical.

The man closest to the central figure also looked like he was in his mid to late teens. He had light red hair which was combed to the left. He possessed a slightly taller stature than the man who stood next to him. He had a very serious looking expression on his face. On his left arm were four crossed blades which had been engraved into his armor. Two of the crossed blades were diagonal, one was vertical, and the last one was horizontal. On the left side of the four crossed blades was a mask. By the bottom left of the mask were three crossed blades. Two were diagonal and one was vertical.

The three figures to the right were all women.  They all wore dark red armor which had a gold trim around the edge. All three of the women had a sword strapped to their back with the hilt on their left side. All three of the women were in a column. One of the women was closer to the central figure, another woman was in the middle, and there was one last woman who was at the end of the column.

The woman who was at the end of the column was the one closest to the boy and the girl. She looked like she was in her mid teens. She had black hair which didn't go past her shoulders. She possessed a slightly taller stature than the woman she stood next to. But, possessed a shorter stature than the woman closest to the central figure. She had an uncaring expression on her face. On her left arm were two crossed swords which had been engraved into her armor. On the left side of the two crossed swords was a mask with a line through the center. By the bottom left of the mask was three crossed blades. Two were diagonal and one was vertical. On the left side of the three crossed blades was a line.

The woman who was in the middle of the column also looked like she was in her mid teens. She had long purple hair which went about halfway down her back. She possessed a slightly shorter stature than both the woman she stood next to. She had an angry expression on her face. On her left arm were three crossed swords which had been engraved into her armor. Two were diagonal and one was horizontal. On the left side of the three crossed swords was a mask with a line through the center. By the bottom left of the mask was three crossed blades. Two were diagonal and one was vertical. On the left side of the three crossed blades was a line.

The woman closest to the central figure looked like she was in her late teens. She had short dark red hair which didn't go past her shoulders. She possessed a slightly taller stature than both of the other two women in the column. She had no expression on her face. On her left arm were four crossed swords which had been engraved into her armor. Two were diagonal, one was vertical, and one was horizontal. On the left side of the four crossed swords was a mask with a line through the center. By the bottom left of the mask was three crossed blades. Two were diagonal and one was vertical. On the left side of the crossed blades was a line.

On the right side of the two men and on the left side of the three women was a throne. It was a dark red throne with a silver trim around the edge.

On the throne a girl sat. The girl looked like she was in her mid teens. She had long light brown hair that was brushed over to the left and went about halfway down her back. The girl wore silver armor with a gold trim around the edge. The armor also had gold on the center of the chestplate. The girl had her left foot crossed over her right foot as she sat on the throne. Her left hand laid on the seat of the throne. Her right hand laid on the arm on the throne. Beside her left foot was her sword which was leaning against the throne and was close to her left hand.

The boy thought with surprise as he stared at the room. "Why is Sister sitting on Father's throne?!"

The girl on the throne, the boy's sister, stared at the boy and the girl who had just opened the doors of the King's Throne Room and a slight smirk formed on her lips.
